This might be controversial, but this place is SO MUCH BETTER than most places in National City, San Diego . There I said it. Wow, we were blown away by everything we tried! My mom and I got:
sisig – perfectly spicy 10/10
pancit – wow! This pancit was bold in flavor
dinuguan – I didn’t try it but my mom loved it
PORK INASAL – whoa. Insanely good. I hate when the timpla has too much ketchup like other recipes I’ve had, but theirs isn’t made like that and it was so damn good hahah. The first bite revived my childhood I think.
The service was incredible. They were so nice and patient with us ordering and answering any questions we had.
I have nothing but praises. My mom and I have been on a hunt for a GOOD Filipino place and I’m pretty sure this is it ↔️✨

I wasn’t expecting Filipino BBQ! The pork, pancit, and lumpia were almost as good as my mother’s (a Filipina) home-cooked dishes. I got guava flavored juice as my take-home “dessert.” My only regret was that my stomach was a little sour earlier that day. Otherwise, I would have ate more.

It is only my second time coming here, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Yuma. The food is outstanding and the customer service is top notch. Jennifer at the order desk is so attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend the Baby back ribs, and if you are looking for a spicy kick try the Dynamytes! Definitely try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Food was just ok. I was disappointed. I have eaten here before when the lady was cooking it was a lot better. Some guy was in the kitchen. The point is it lack Hawaiian love and Philippine culture. No soul in this place!

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a decent Filipino food. I ordered the lechon, and it was great! It was very flavorful and despite getting it closer to the end of the day, there was still some crispness left to it. I loved the consistency of the rice (I’m super picky about rice texture). I’m leaving out one star for the macaroni. Although delicious, it was a bit oily for my liking. I’m definitely coming back to try their other dishes because if they can get their lechon right, I’m sure other dishes will be good too!

Great place to eat. First time trying it and we loved. I ordered the “Chicken Inasal” and my friend ordered the “Baby Back Ribs”. We also tried the “Pancit”. Everything was delicious. Will be coming back soon. Thank you for your great service too.

My decision to come here was based on their raving reviews (4,9 score out 5 is really rear). I was super hungry and did not have much time, so I clicked on the first place with the high score, read just one review and made a BIG MISTAKE to visit it.
I wanted to eat in and grab some for to go. And made another mistake of ordering everything at once, should’ve eaten there first and then decided if it was worth it to get something to go.
So I ordered a beefsteak (and was told that it was a good choice). I also ordered some noodles cause don’t like eating plain rice. And for to go I ordered their party BBQ plate, half chicken / half pork. That was a MAJOR MISTAKE ! You may check the attached pix. The chicken was burnt so badly that I had to leave 3 legs right there. I forced myself to eat one so I may decide if it even worth taking for the road. I chose the least burnt one and fortunately was able to finish it (a little bit dry). Same issue with the pork BBQ, way over grilled and dry. The WORST thing was my steak (remember, I had been told it was a good choice). It was VERY HARD to chew and WAY OVER SALTED !!! I will refer you again to the attached pictures. You may see it yourself, the “quality” of their food and the amount I left there cause it was inedible.
I was charged the full amount ($70+) even though told the waitress from the beginning that the steak was too salty…
I’m sure I’m gonna throw half of the BBQ I got to go, but had no choice, cause I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to find anything else.
The best part of this meal were noodles (though I had been told it would come with some veggies and there were none).
I have no idea how they had managed to have so many stellar reviews… They may deserve one star only because the waitress was nice and friendly and the place was spotless clean
