Corner Cafe (formerly Kuntry Kubbard) was excellent for breakfast. Breakfast special was very tasty and sever(s) were pleasant and efficient at coffee refills without being asked. Highly recommend! Menu photos from Aug 2025.

Food was presented well, but, poor quality. Got 4 burgers, each made differently, none were finished. Sides were onion rings, sweet potato fries and crinkle fries. The crinkle and onion rings tasted like they were fried in a fish fryer. The server that answered the phone was super nice, great personality and thorough in taking our order. I wish I had a better experience, but for almost $70, I dont think I’ll be trying it again.

Good food and service. Like all other places, getting pretty pricey. Simple breakfast for my wife and I was $26.00.
Gave this place a good reviiew in the past for its good food. However, very disappointed today. Ordered breakfast with a side of American fries. The fries were cold and looked like pieces of charcoal. My wife also ordered the American fries, hers were the same. We brought this to the attention of our server. She left momentarily and when she returned, told us she would take my American fries off the bill but not my wife’s. Said because her fries are not a side, but part of the meal. Don’t understand that logic, but accepted it in lieu of making a scene. Not as much that we couldn’t eat the fries as it is the principal. Just may have been there for the last time.

Wow, what a difference. New faces, new carpeting, tables. Everything is new. Nice remodel. Much more inviting place to eat.

Although the place is all cleaned up and looking pretty good. The service is not the greatest. Also, been there 3 times since the revamp and have not had a good breakfast. Eggs are warm at best, potatoes and toast are cold. Used to have good hot food there, no more though. Probably won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend anymore.

I have officially scratched this place off my list of places to eat. 5 times in a row, extremely long wait for breakfast. When it arrived, once again, everything was barely warm. They just can’t figure out how to serve hot food. What a shame. Hardly any good restaurants in Ludington anyway, now this place has gone downhill.

Lovely restaurant, its a family friendly and reasonably priced the staff is wonderful waitresses are Great!!. Whenever we are in Ludington we always stop in to for a good home-cooked meal and to catch up with staff. Couldn’t ask for a nicer restaurant. Only downfall is they do close for the winter sometime in December and reopen in the Spring.

The updates made have added just a touch of a cleaner look to the dining area. The wait staff are happier than ever and so accommodating.

The only thing I’m disappointed with is, and with the area it’s understandable, but that that do close for the deep winter months.

Luckily they stayed open longer this season.

This place was fantastic! The business sign isn’t very welcoming but it’s definitely a hidden gem! I will for sure visit again. The staff will was super friendly. Great, fast, service. Large portions on meals. All the food tasted great!

A clean comfortable cafe environment, great tasting food, and friendly staff made an all round relaxing dining experience. I just thought the buffet price of just over $18 per person was a little on the high side. However, it’s much better than a fast food chain restaurant.

Probably my tenth time here. Had the chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. CFS was salty! The American fries potatoes were undercooked as the potatoes were hard. The biscuits and flour gravy were o.k. It was very cold inside. All in all – a mediocre meal. 7/1/25 update: Returned hoping for better food – I had the “senior special” which was two eggs, home fries, choice of meat and toast – $6.95 and a deal. Our friend had a “skillet” but he said it wasn’t very good – the restaurant seemed chaotic as the servers were very busy. I’d recommend the senior special!

We stopped in here for breakfast. Had the kuntry Omelette. It was right on point for flavor and description on the menu. My wife had the ham egg cheese burrito which was huge for the money and also had fantastic flavor. Kids had the pancakes which you can see in pics where also excellent size for value.
