Love this place!! Today I had the crispy taco plate with chicken, the shredded beef are also equally as amazing as the chicken ones. Once I got these to go and realized you need to eat these fresh. The portions are perfect and the price is on par. The place is small but the food flavors are massive. I’ve had plenty of Mexican food and this taqueria is by far the best I’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried Lucy’s yet, you’re missing out. Well worth the calories!! Yum

The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that the service could be a bit friendlier, and ordering in English was a little challenging. Still, definitely worth a visit for the food alone.

I actually live just around the corner from Lucy’s and while there are many great Mexican restaurants in San Jose, this is still one of my favorites. The food is always made fresh, fairly priced and great service. The tacos are so delicious with the different sauces I have to have it every couple of weeks.

Great customer service and friendly staff at Lucy’s. The quality of the food here is better than Chipotle and also the portions are a lot bigger. Which ever food you purchase here you can’t go wrong and the orange sauce is pretty spicy if you’re not use to eating spicy food.

First of all I want to say I have been coming here for year since the first week it open the owner was always great with service and all today the older lady behind the register was extremely rude with multiple customers, she was not paying attention and keep getting the orders wrong and was even rude to her coworkers. The customer before me had called her order in ahead of time since she walk 15min to get their. Her order was never entered. She explained that the lady on the phone was being rude to her on the phone. The lady at the register proceeded to ignore her until the cook tried to help.

A no frills place but SO GOOD. Al pastor for the win! We always order and pick up as there isn’t much seating inside. Salsas are spicy and on point!

Never been @ Lucy’s but highly recommended by coworkers. I ordered the super burrito with carne asada. It was delicious! The meat vs the rice, beans etc ratio was on point. Will definitely be returning when I’m in the area.

First time here and I’ll be coming back! Mango agua fresca was like eating a fresh mango! Muleta with carnitas and sopes with Al pastor were both wonderful. Lots of foot traffic for lunch so others apparently think it’s good, too
