If pancakes are your jam, I implore you to stop in at Lucy’s Cafe!! The pancakes are huge and perfect I have never seen bigger more perfect pancakes in my whole life!! It is a small Mom & Pop shop. Lots of locals frequently dine here. They are well known for its breakfast & lunch.

Hello, my family and I went here yesterday. When we first got here my husband explained we have never been here before. Then when asked what was the most popular menu item, proceeded to tell us the burgers… So my husband started to order… then there was an older lady who also came up to us while ordering she wasn’t having the best attitude for customer service, she came off rude. My husband repeated “sorry it’s our first time here, we live in temple”. I understand inconveniences that ruin your day but when you work in customer service there is a certain attitude you should give…. Minus that loved the homey feel and the way the restaurant was set up 🙂

This cute little cafe is on the main street through town, which is how we came to see it. Today we finally decided to give it a try. The pancakes were fluffy and hot and the hash browns were absolutely delicious! Would have preferred soft scrambled eggs, but they were still good…cooked done without being brown…yay!! The folks here are welcoming and friendly. We are glad we stopped in.

Very rarely do you encounter a place where they seem to have mastered both chicken fried steak and mexican food. All the food was fantastic. Sweet tea done right texas style. Loved it here and will be back for sure!!!

The food that we ate was good, but the fact that French fries did not accompany the party melt sandwich was displeasing. I ordered the fajita plate; and the only disappointments there were the Lima beans in the rice, the limited number of tortillas and the finite portion of salsa. The plate size was generous with respect to chicken, and I enjoyed another full meal from the residual.
