We visited Lucky’s 2 days in a row just because we were in town and it was just easier to grab a bite to eat due to time. The first time we were there the bartender /server was less than friendly. It’s almost as if she wasn’t interested in being there. We ordered food that comes with fries which we asked for them to be crispy, but they didn’t come out that way. I’m sure where the breakdown of communication was, but working in a business that sells a lot of fries, most guests consistently preferred crispy fries versus mushy. What’s another minute? The second day we visited, Shannon was our server. She was amazing, friendly, helpful, and just provided great customer service. Overall. The food again was just okay. I did order the dynamite shrimp. The gravy/ sauce was interesting. In my opinion. If you’re going to name something Dynamite, when I think of that word, I think of something spicy. There was nothing spicy to it and we had to ask for hot sauce. Thank goodness Shannon found a bottle of Tabasco, but if there was some other options available, I think that if it was offered as a condiment that more people would use it. Whether it be Tabasco or Cholula. My rating reflects visits for both days. If we would have had Shannon just during one visit my rating would be higher. Being a retail operations manager, customer service is a high priority that my employees provide. This position in a restaurant, whether you’re a bartender or server requires that as well. Whether you’re having a good day or a bad day, anything personal should be left before you get into work. Your attitude at work needs to just reflect a good, positive experience for those paying guest

During a recent dinner this Sunday Oct 12 at around 6:00 pm at this establishment, I encountered an unsatisfactory experience. While the venue was aesthetically pleasing, the service, particularly from the host, was subpar. The host displayed a lack of warmth and hospitality, failing to greet us upon our arrival. Furthermore, we were seated in a bar, which was inconvenient for my wife and our young daughter. To add to the frustration, the host neglected to inform us that our server would be attending to us shortly. This behavior is unacceptable and exemplifies the poor standards of hospitality that some establishments maintain.
Despite the server’s lack of introduction, she demonstrated courteous behavior.

This is the quickest I’ve ever done a review, as we just left. Naturally, with negative reviews (especially quite recent), you hope your experience is better. I kept seeing Amanda’s name mentioned positively in reviews, and almost requested her. She ended up being our waitress anyway, and was perfect!
The lobster was delicious, and with the sides and the bread we left happy and extremely full. Their food and drinks are better priced (and better overall) than every place we have gone to in Gaylord. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to finally come here (I’m 40), and my husband last ate at Lucky’s in Fenton 20 years ago.
We will definitely be back!

Very nice atmosphere! Good food and good service! My daughter’s kids’ burger was huge and priced great. My son loved his top sirloin cooked to a perfect med rare. I love my prime rib cooked med rare as well as the salad and sauteed mushrooms. The bread was also very good. Highly recommend great food at great prices!

Great service and great value for your money. We had a group of 8 and came strait from the golf course since the restaurant closes at 9pm. Despite our 8pm arrival the waitress and staff never made us feel rushed. We ordered dri ks, appetizers and dinner and closed out the restaurant. Besides my husband and I Noone else had ever eaten at the restaurant. We were delighted to introduce our group to one of our favorite restaurants.

The staff were excellent and customer service oriented. Food was a solid 4. I think the pre-meal bread could be more fluffy or a better brand as it just seemed tough. I had the ribs whichbwere great tasting for the price. Not overly fatty and not burnt. There may have been a little too much sauce though. I think the prices were what caught my attention. Would definitely eat there again.

A long ways to go to try and pass as a steak house. I rarely send food back but when all four of our meals were literally inedible we had no choice but to get our meal comped and send it all back. Steak was very tough and served rare when ordered medium, tough overcooked fried perch, burned “grouper” that looked more like tilapia, soggy lettuce and bland sides. 20 minutes to get a draft beer. Waitress was nice but service lacked as she was overwhelmed managing the whole bar area herself on a Friday night. Dirty silverware with food bits stuck on it. Yikes, stay away!

Nathan was our server and he was super great! Speedy service, kind, and charismatic! Food was delicious! I’d recommend the Monterey chicken and my husband loved his big ribeye! Can’t wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I have been here two times and it was WONDERFUL! The portion sizes on the food is fantastic for what you pay for.
Reading some of the reviews of this place is so silly. Especially the one that returned their well done steak 3 times.
Like seriously? You have the nerve to get your flavorless rubber 3 times and cause a problem, then leave a 1 star review? Pathetic. People like that don’t deserve good food.
This place is awesome. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a huge portion of food for a very affordable price.
Will be coming back here for sure! To those that like well done steak, go somewhere else or make your unseasoned gross concoction at home and save the steaks for people who enjoy good food.
