Ordered the avocado toast…. OMG was it delicious honestly did Not expect something as simple as avocado toast to be so gloriously presented (I ordered it to go) almost to pretty too eat!
Its atmosphere is a cute coffee shop feel, clean, with friendly staff and a wide variety of drinks/food options that are designed to fuel the body!

Cute place and great food. Ordered a pumpkin spice chai latte and a nitro cold brew and for food we had the salmon bagel and the breakfast burrito. The food and drinks were amazing. We highly recommend it!

Lucky’s is truly a gem, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a bright, vibrant atmosphere that immediately makes you want to stay awhile. It’s the kind of place that feels both fresh and comfortable—perfect for meeting friends, grabbing coffee, or enjoying an incredible meal.
The food has been consistently outstanding. I’ve worked my way through a good portion of the menu, and everything has been absolutely wonderful. Breakfast favorites like the Loaded B&G, Regular B&G, Benny Croissant, Breakfast Burrito, and Bacon Fried Rice have all been fantastic—flavorful, hearty, and clearly made with care and attention to detail. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, and I honestly haven’t had a single bad meal yet.
Lunch is just as impressive. The Lucky Reuben, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Smoked Turkey, and Four Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich were all excellent. The quality of ingredients really shines through, and each sandwich is both satisfying and delicious.
What truly sets Lucky’s apart, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. The owners are engaged, involved, and clearly passionate about both their business and the community they’re serving—and that care shows in every detail.
Lucky’s is more than just a coffee shop or café—it’s a place that feels special. Amazing food, wonderful people, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make it somewhere I’m always happy to return to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee, great food, and an even better experience.

A wonderful place to eat. Panini was very tasty as was the Biscuits and Gravy. We are from the Pacific Northwest and the coffee drinks were as good as what we get at home. Liked everything so much that we came back the next day and split the bagel with smoked salmon.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was immaculate. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been to Lucky’s twice since opening and have had a very positive experience both times. The Reuben sandwich is built perfectly and the portion is big enough for two meals. It isn’t easy to find a place that takes the time to make it right, and you can tell from the taste that they use top quality ingredients. We’ve also had the chicken Ceaser wrap and the pecan cranberry salad, both served fresh and with quality ingredients. The counter staff has always been super friendly and engaging, with great knowledge of the menu. We were very happy to see that they are open during many weekdays, since there are few options around Koontz Lake past peak hours on weekends. If you want a variety of healthy options for your friends and family Lucky’s is the place for you! If you are in the mood for great treats they also have a good amount of pastries and coffee to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Stopped in this morning for an iced coffee and was welcomed by numerous people. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chatty. I would highly recommend anybody stop in for coffee at least.

We heard about this little gem and we did the short trek from Valparaiso out there. What a pleasant surprise! Staff was great, food was great, and atmosphere was great. It is a little gem in the rough and a short drive from Valparaiso we strongly suggest you give it a try. We know we are going back!
