Is it really worth it? I was working in town for the day and my supervisor wanted to try out this restaurant. I usually stick to what I know but went along to try something new. The place was clean, organized, and appeared to be friendly. I thought the prices were a little steep compared to In-N-Out but after reading a news article about their business on the wall I thought I’d give it a try. Much to my dismay I was disappointed. I ordered the barbecue bacon hamburger, it was smaller than the my palm of my hand and I could barely taste any barbecue. But thats a little understandable with todays rising cost. But then I also noticed inside my bag of fries seemed half empty. I looked over my shoulders and saw other customers just sitting down pulling out their bags of fries that were full. So I went back to the counter and asked the dark hair attendant to look into my bag and see if there was a mistake? I asked if I was given a small bag of fries instead of a large. She said that was a large. I have to say I gave her a strange look because the bag was half empty. For the $4 that I paid it looked like a $1.99. For a moment I thought she would take the fries and have them refill it as I had not left the counter at that moment when I picked up my order. But she looked away as if to send me off, no questions asked. Both fries and hamburger costed just over $13. So I asked myself, was it worth it? I think I’ll be sticking to what I know, and head over to In-N-Out next time. As the old saying goes be careful what you paid for. The value is not only the food that you eat but the experience you had. Thanks!

This place is cute with its retro diner decor and double decker bus outside!
The customer service was great! They asked if it was our first time and gave us a variety of sauces to try with our perfectly crispy fries. I wish the sauces were labeled, since I’m not sure what they were but were all pretty yummy! The burger is huge, and very flavorful. It was a bit messy and I forgot to ask for tomatoes since they don’t add them unless you ask.
The outside patio is so chill and spacious. The bus was under construction but I’m looking forward to going back and being able to sit inside and dine.

I had a double bacon cheeseburger with garlic aioli. Fire. Highly recommend. The burger is solid. Bacon was just right. The fries are battered type of fries. Also great flavor. Had the blackberry lemonade. It was good. The fry sauce was not my thing, However, I know plenty of people that would enjoy this. Seems like relish/pickle type of sauce. (I don’t like pickles)

Lucky’s delivers on the old fashioned vibe of the 50’s soda shop and burger joint. But they deliver more: FANTASTIC burgers and shakes made to order. The fries are fantastic, the burgers legit, and the sauce delightful. Great going!

I didn’t plan to go to Lucky’s , I was just hungry for a burger meal. So I decided to travel 4 miles in the opposite direction, even tho there were other burger places close to where I was. I’m glad I did, upon entering the decor and the music took me back in time, like I was in my younger days growing up. My wife and I got the Lucky burger meal which is a burger, fries, and a shake. My wife also got chili in a cup, to eat with her fries. She also got the peanut butter shake. My wife enjoyed her food and commented that her food was delicious. I enjoyed my burger, with the thick slice pickles. I also got the cherry shake, plus the fries were crispy and delicious. As I was eating my wife started to sing along with the music, a sign that she was enjoying the food and atmosphere. We talked about a lot of things, and had a fun time.
And if you like to eat outside there’s a enclosed place in the back with lots of seating, and also a real double decker bus which they are working on for future dining in the bus.

Staff was kind and very helpful, they looked like they knew what they doing. The burgers were sadly only just “good”. I was expecting really good when you look at the decor etc and it was simply enjoyable. Next time I’ll try their Chipotle burger, I think I’ll prefer that much more.
I am not a fan of the lucky sauce. It was sweet to me, and I wanted something more spicy or smoky. I thought it was ketchup mayo and relish mixed. My kids liked it however. Now, the French fries…..OMGOODNESS. I would seriously drive from Vacaville to literally have more fries, AMAZING! Crispy, seasoned, good portion, just wow ! My chocolate shake was better than In N Out, but really that’s not saying much. The strawberry banana and cookie and cream were much better. Fun environment, clean, we didn’t use the restroom so can’t speak on that.

Excellent food. All made fresh. Happy 1 year anniversary. They have the red bus next to 99 and Broadway. On Friday’s, they have folks bring their classic cars!!

The food is pretty good here. My burger was average and French were fresh and hot. I’d rate it 3.5. I expected my burger to be more juicy and cheesy, but not bad. The customer service was great and the location was very neat and clean. I plan on returning to try other menu items.
Overall good vibes.

A hidden gem! Amazing classic burgers – not greasy and not overly complicated. Simple, delicious, and exactly how burgers used to be.
This is also one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to, which really stood out. And it’s owned by an adorable couple who have a double-decker bus you can eat in – such a fun and unique touch! I love a good backstory.
We will definitely be back and will be telling everyone about this place!
