Guess it’s my fault for not reading reviews. I just got really bad takeout. The eggplant was almost completely raw, the “grilled “ onions and mushrooms were raw. I couldn’t taste any cheese and just ate the soggy bun and marinara. Got heartburn from raw onion. The garlic bread wasn’t good either. Maybe they just cater to drunk young people, but the person who made my sandwich doesn’t know how to cook eggplant properly.

My boyfriend is born and raised from Philly and we can’t say enough good things. The cheesesteak was unreal, the roll held up and didn’t get soggy (very important according to him), the fries were perfect and the mozzarella sticks had a cheese pull out of this world. Genuinely so impressed. Good happy hour also!

As a native to Charlottesville I thought it was exciting to see that there is a Cheesesteak restaurant. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the service that I received my first time there I commute from Richmond to Charlottesville for work and on my way back home(7pmish) I decided to stop in to get a cheesesteak. Upon my arrival no one greeted me or asked if I wanted to drink or if I want to order food which left me to ordering on the kiosk. I was expecting to have my food in 20mins +/- 5 however,it took all of an hour to receive my food. No one checked or provided updates on my wait time. This delayed my return home tremendously. As a customer who wanted eat in and experience the atmosphere of the restaurant Ihad to no choice opt for the road. No apologies or explanation were given. The sub was decent I imagine it would have been better hot. Not sure if this is the usual but was my first experience there, it was underwhelming.

After watching a movie at the theater across from the place my boyfriend and I had gone into the restaurant looking to get some take out to end our night. I had been carrying a cup of lemonade in my hand from the theater and when we went to place our order at the kiosk the girl with the pink hair (don’t know what her name is but let’s call her karen) karen says “oh you can’t have that in here it’s ABC laws.” We told her it was lemonade from out movie and she said “how am I supposed to know that?” Well, because we told her. Overall terrible customer service from her. I don’t know if she just takes her job entirely too seriously (I don’t think this is the case because after some research into the place there is no ABC law banning a cup of lemonade for people placing takeout orders) or maybe she’s prejudiced. I’m sure everyone knows how pricy those movie theater prices are, I in no way was going to throw away my purchase just to make a take out order at a kiosk. After reading reviews from others it’s clear that I didn’t miss out on much. Don’t waste your money here.

2 stars because I feel bad leaving one. Disappointed. Order of fries literally the size of a small from McDonald’s which would cost me less. Onion rings are overseasoned and not fully cooked. The “cheesesteaks” are chewy, overcooked, near burnt. I get everyplace has bad nights but let down especially compared to what Im used to back home.

I dont know. How the food was. I just saw a rat running outside the building. I did come inside. You all only have 2 size cheesesteaks. I prefer a smaller portion

This place is a joke. We showed up 15 minutes before closing—plenty of time to order—and the staff had already locked the doors and started pretending the place didn’t exist. Lights dimmed, people cleaning up, ignoring customers outside like we were invisible. If you’re that desperate to go home early, maybe don’t work in food service.
We drove out of our way for a cheesesteak, and instead got a masterclass in laziness and bad attitude. Don’t post business hours you clearly have no intention of honoring. Nothing says “we don’t care about customers” like shutting down early and hoping no one notices. Save your time and money—there are plenty of spots nearby that actually want your business.

Pretty good bowls for a really good price. They serve up good portions too. You can also make your own bowls. They have vegetarian options and different flavors. We enjoyed it.
