Lucky’s Blindfish is hands down one of the best restaurants in Lapeer. We have been in here dozens of times and its always consistently good. Their bread is fresh, homemade and delicious! My favorites on the menu are the dynamite shrimp, filet, lobster tails, brussels, asparagus, stuffed shrimp and alfredo! Their kids meals are huge portions and delicious too! Our favorite server is Melvin–he never writes anything down and never messes it up! Super attentive and personable! The restaurant is clean and accommodating for large groups of people. We love Luckys and will always come back! I am also very picky about steak and my husband and I both agree that theirs never disappoints!

First time visiting, great service and server. Our pictures – we had received 6 stuffed mushrooms but had already eaten 2. Enjoyed the fish tacos as well, large piece of fish in each one. Nice atmosphere, music was quiet enough to be able to have a conversation. Great food , will definitely reccomend

I had an opportunity to have dinner at the Blind Fish last night… The food was good and the atmosphere was very welcoming..But im really writing this review to say how amazing my waitress was…
I think she said her name was Abbie. She was absolutely amazing. Abbie, made me feel like she cared about my business.. She was very professional and seems to take her job very seriously..
The food was very good and brought out hot .
If your looking for a restaurant with good food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.. I highly recommend the Blind Fish. And if you want exceptional service while you are there. I would recommend requesting Abbie as your waitress ..

We came for lunch (outside of the busy/rush hour) and we had a pleasant experience. The ribeye was cooked beautifully to perfection. My aunt had the salmon and she really enjoyed it well. Excellent customer service. I ordered soup without croutons. It came with them on. I was just going to take them off but she went back into the kitchen and had them do it/do it herself. I would not have asked or expected her to do that, but it shows she was being attentive to her customers (I wish I remembered her name). We don’t always come out to Lucky’s in Lapper, but I absolutely would again.

Lots of seating. Service was fast and fantastic. Food was delicious. I had the parmesan crusted grouper and some crab legs. The complimentary bread and butter was very good as well! Will definitely go again if I am up this way again.

Came back in 2025 for Mother’s Day
Still great! Prime rib excellent!
Today I tried the “French Onion Soup”. Great! Only good if you like onion. Also tried the “Fettuccine Alfredo”. My wife had the two lobster tail and the “Chicken parmesan”. This was all good. Nothing bad.
Today I gave them 5 stars!! They earned it. Service was great. No issues.
Highly recommended

Two words. Prime Rib. Yes! This was one of the best Prime rib I’ve had. Nice and juicy. Cooked long and tender. Not the Best, but good. My wife had the crab legs and lobster tail and which she said was good.
The only draw back, not cooked long enough. If you cook it for a long time, the meat melts in your mouth. It was tender but not perfect. Still, the prime rib is highly recommend!
Enjoy this Lucky’s !

I recommend Whitey’s in Davison instead. Better fish, better shrimp, better bread, better prices. The food that’s good is very good, but some of their dishes taste odd.
Recommend: ribs, onion and potato soups, French fries.
Seafood not the best, not the worst. Fish and chips, and coconut shrimp alright. Their cocktail and coconut shrimp sauces taste odd though.
Bread and butter ok.
We did NOT like the stuffed grouper, super soft. I didn’t like the fried shrimp, but daughter did. The mashed potatoes were warm, not hot. Red potatoes were just this side of undercooked.
Also yelling “coming in!” repeatedly next to our table wasn’t much fun.

OMG Horrible experience. We waited an hour and a half for our food to come out. The food was cold when it got to us. The prime rib was tough as nails. The stuffed shrimp was disgusting, mushy and Luke warm. The garlic potatoes were so garlicky they were inedible. I truly tried to find something good about the food but couldn’t. The rest of my party were in the rest room for the remainder of the evening at home. They all had the fish dinner. We called the manager over 3 different times. First because we didn’t get our order taken for over 40 minutes, again because it was another half hour before we saw any food and finally because the food was terrible. After all this, the manager brought us two free pieces of cheesecake, without taking to use about it first and the full bill. Since I couldn’t eat the food on my plate I told her I wasn’t paying for my plate. She told me, “Well, you ate it”. You could plainly see that I only tasted each item. At this time she decided that she needed to take my plate back to the kitchen, I’m guessing to weigh it? It was embarrassing and I was fuming at this point. The tablet next to ours informed us that it took 20 minutes to get him a beer. This restaurant has gone down the drain and the management is clueless. I’ll never set foot in there again. Good luck if you want a good meal.

Dinner was awful tonight. Waitress was great but that’s about it. My Fiance got the fisherman’s platter and his shrimp was overcooked. The bread they serve beforehand was hard. I got the Prime Rib which I order often, ordered medium rare and it was brought out raw and cold to me. My salad was also starting to wilt and rot. We will not be coming back. If your spending $60 on a meal for two you should be able to eat it. The place was freezing as well.
