If you’re a hot dog/sausage lover, you need to get to LuckyDog. I had the Chicago Dog and it was great. The hot dogs, buns, relish and even the sport peppers on my Chicago Dog are sourced from Chicago. Met the owner, Art. He explained that they don’t consider their menu as “gourmet” but rather authentic. Other orders I saw coming out also looked great. Next time I visit it’s going to be a tough choice between the D. C. Half Smoke and Italian Sausage. Great place!

A wonderful selection of hot dogs, one of my favorite comfort foods. Usually, I am happy with some spicy brown mustard and some kraut, but there is a lot more at Lucky Dog. Try the Korean Dog with Mozzarella, so good. The Half Smoke with chili is my next favorite. Even the crinkle cut fries are solid.

If you’re looking for authentic Chicago Dog, definitely come to Lucky Dog. How do i know it’s authentic? We’re from Chicago (NW side) and also owned a Chicago Hotdog shop/eatery for 10+ years in Loudoun and Frederick, MD. We quickly fell in love with all the other styles of hotdog they serve but also Art’s own Chili! It is one of the best chili I’ve had. Its great by itself, for fries and hotdogs. Sooo happy to have Lucky Dog at The Dell in Leesburg!

An Amazing hot dog restaurant. The food was quick, authentic and really hit the spot. My family got the Classic, NewYorker, Chicago dog and fries. We all loved our food.
The restaurant and their restrooms were spotless and very clean. The owner Art took time of his busy day to check on us and even described how he makes the ingredients fresh everyday.
I highly recommend Lucky Dog for the family. Art even mentioned that hosts birthday party’s and does catering if needed. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Lucky Dog for the amazing food and great value. I am very impressed.

Absolutely delicious hotdogs! If you have a craving, this will certainly satisfy you, but do be aware that the different dogs truly are different, it’s not just the toppings. The Chicago dog and the one from Ben’s Chili Bowl were unbelievable! (The standard hotdog was fine, but not even close) Overall, a real treat!

Lucky dog sells a $ hot dog! Had my first LA street dog at Dynasty Brewing in Ashburn, VA. Serves classics from all across the country. Can’t go wrong with a top notch beer from Dynasty and a superior hot dog from Lucky. Had to eat half before I could even take a picture. A must have!

Tried out LuckyDog at Chefscape in Leesburg, their Chicago Dogs were what caught our eye, they were one of the best we’ve had in NOVA so far. The owner was super friendly also! Will definitely be going back.

I ate my Gamja hotdog too fast to take a photo. Embarrassing: I know. I had found this spot searching for Korean hot dog before and just now made the trip because my appetite does not know business hours. It does now! The place is a great spot to hit after dinner on a Saturday and you won’t regret it. I got the half cheese/ half dog with the Rice Krispie outside (trust me it’s the best ) and the sriracha mayo drizzle. It’s fantastic. The owner came over to personally see how it was and thank me for my business. A rare and special thing in these days. Awesome person, awesome food. I WILL be returning to have more food from lucky dog. I know we all have those people in our family who can’t be pleased: Lucky dog is inside of The Dell, formerly ChefScape, and there are other store fronts to try at the same time. It’s our own little street food culture mecca in leesburg. 6 stars easy.
Edit: back again for a late Saturday snack with chill vibes. The only one left was the ramen dog … not upset. The absolute best crunch of the bunch in my own humble opinion. Snapped a pic this time before it was gone. I gotta come earlier next time!

Lucky dog serves without a doubt the best hot dog I have ever had. My personal favorite is the LA street dog. Art brought me right back to California with this dish. A must if you are near Leesburg!

Loved it!! fresh and delicious! i wouldve taken a picture of my chili dog but i deleted it. Would highly recommend but be careful of rush hour! but the time it takes to get your food is overshadowed by the great tasting hot dogs
