I was thoroughly impressed with the food here. I love very spicy foods and not many can introduce the amount of heat I crave and not ruin the flavor of the cuisine. Well, this xtra spicy general chicken was not only one of the absolute best Chinese flavors I’ve had in this city but the heat was truly fantastic. I also got a SS chix and unlike many places in this cities history that use what seems to be a buffet quality ingredient list for the SS sauce. Lucky Time’s has a lot of depth and a truly complex flavor that’s not overly powerful and is well worth the visit on it’s own.
The rangoons & egg rolls are a couple things I’d say are average but decent for sure. All in all it wouldn’t matter if they were N/A or blah because the dishes I had were so much more than just good that I couldn’t even care. 6 stars

Heart and soul in every part of this restaurant, I started supporting this business after the news of Chavez came to light, I went to school with Chavez and while we basically we’re no more than just teammates on a football team, his character shined so brightly and it reflects in his family and the care and effort they put into their establishment.
The orange chicken combo is dare I say the best bang for your buck Chinese meal in Springfield. Not only is it the most delicious orange chicken you’ll have with a hint of spice, the portions are MASSIVE. If you get the orange chicken combo, and extra side of rice, that’s a big big meal for two people for just around $10 it is incredible.
I love this place, they care, their family deserves the love cause of the love they put into it. If you’re in town try them out!

The two plates I ordered were delicious. The General’s Chicken and the beef and broccoli stir fry were excellent. That had to be some of the best General’s Chicken I’ve had in recent memory. Seriously, it was crispy and saucy, and now I want more.

Neither the outside or inside look like much but that kitchen has wizards in it. This is THE BEST Spicy General Tso’s chicken I have ever had. It pushes more towards heat than sweetness. The flavor is indescribably deep. 100% urge everyone to find and try them!

If you’re unsure about giving this place a try just go ahead and give it a shot. The price is competitive, the food is great, and the service is phenomenal.
The general chicken is decently spicy compared to the average, the cashew chicken is solid, they actually put meat in their wontons which is rare (although it tastes like breakfast sausage) , they do egg rolls and crab rangoons wells, really I cant complain about anything other than that the stir fried vegetable dishes come out a little pale. Id like to see some more color on them

Pretty good food, cheap and decently tasty. Egg roll really not that good but other than that the chicken was pretty good. Good place for a quick cheap meal.

Might be my new number 2 favorite Chinese place in SGF. Number one on this side of town at least. Don’t hate me Cashew Station, you still hold down the south side.
Lucky time is amazing. We finally got a chance to get take out from there and I don’t regret it. I got Orange Chicken because it’s either really good or really bad at most places. Let me tell you it was the best Orange Chicken I’ve ever had. Tasted VERY fresh with the orange, not just some dollar store orange juice. Oh and it was spicy. That was honestly a nice change of pace. Next time I’m going to have to get some General and check out that heat.
My wife got Chicken Fried Rice and it was 3 meals worth. Nice balance of chicken to rice and no random chunks of onion like some others in town. It was the perfect texture, color and taste.
The only thing that made me a bit disappointed was the Crab Rangoon. They left a lot to be desired with taste and inside consistency. Especially considering how flavorful the rest of our meal was. I’m going to chalk it up to a bad day and hope they’re better next time. Because let’s be honest, we will be back!
I wish they were able to have a drive thru, but I obviously get that’s not possible at this location.

The food was fantastic! We had sweet-and-sour chicken and General’s chicken with fried rice. Both meals were very good and nice and hot, freshly made just for us! We also had some crab ragoons that were fantastic as well! The server was very friendly and did a great job helping us today! The restaurant was very well designed in an Asian theme, and very clean and organized! This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we certainly will be coming back for more! Great food, great atmosphere, and great people! Thank you so much LuckyTime Chinese!

Though it isn’t a large establishment, we easily found seating for our group of 14.

I showed up at this place at like 2:30 on a random Sunday, and these folks provided me the best Chinese I’ve ever had in my entire life. Every piece of chicken was nice a juicy and tender, nice bite size pieces. The sauce had just enough spice to be delicious but not too much to be over whelming. The young lady working the register was super nice and the restaurant was clean and had a very chill vibe. Will be returning, thank you guys!
