Our first visit to Lucky Thai, and will definitely not be the last. This small restaurant only has a few tables and all were taken when we arrived, so we just sat at the bar near the kitchen. This gave us an opportunity to interact with the staff during our stay.
The service is wonderful and laid back, no rush.
The food. Oh my. This place bests the few places in St Catherine’s easily. So much flavour and spice (we can handle the heat). The red curry was bursting with coconut flavour, I’d order that again and only for myself next time ;). I was digging the basil chicken dish what a unique blend of flavours.
The food was so good I had to order a pad Thai to take home for lunch the next day.
This place is another level.
We can’t wait to visit to sit in the patio when the weather gets nicer.
Overall our bill was under $100 for three dinners and three alcohol beverages. Definitely great value.

Best Thai Food. Everything is made to order. Hot and delicious. If you are in the area and like Thai you have to eat here.

Cozy little thai restaurant run by the nicest couple. They were very friendly and provided excellent service. My spouse and I ordered from the lunch special menu and were pleasantly surprised with the generous portion sizes. It’s good value for what you pay and receive, especially during lunchtime. The green curry chicken and pad thai was excellent. We loved that our meals came with a spring roll and hot & sour soup to start. The restaurant and bathrooms are kept very clean. You can see the kitchen from where you dine and see that these people take care of their space and make your food fresh by order. It’s true that the indoor seating is limited, as some have pointed out in other reviews. However, if you dine in the summer, they have a cute patio with plenty of more tables.

Found this gem of a place during our weekend by the lake. Nice cozy atmosphere. Host was really nice and patiently listened to our dietary requests. Service was great everything came out at perfect timing. I was totally floored by the drunken rice noodles with tons of veggies and tofu. Best I have had in Canada so far. Definitely recommend them.

A small restaurant inside, with a nice outdoor seating patio and open area adjacent to the parking lot. The owner is a nice man. He gave me a good tip – if you usually order Pad Thai; try their Drunken Noodles; not as sweet, more spicy. Their online orders for pick up are always ready at the time you set for pick up, and you can’t beat the value. We’ve had Lucky Thai many times and never been disappointed. Recommended!

My fav takeout in the city. Always fresh, always delicious. Pricing is fair for the quality of meal. Highly recommend the green curry chicken lunch special and the mango salad. Drool worthy!

Fast service with food takeout. I ordered the lemongrass soup with shrimp, thai vegetable fried rice, spicy eggplant, and mango sticky rice. The portion was decent, the food quality was also decent, but the food prices are high. The best item was the mango sticky rice where the syrup was just made perfect.

Found via an article about restaurants that should be on the top 10 lists. Pad Thai was recommended by author. He’s right. Best in Niagara. Pineapple Fried Rice and Cashew Nut Sauce were also top notch. Waitress was great.
