Lucky Sushi is a great place to enjoy fresh sushi in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The sushi chef was personable and made the experience even more enjoyable. Our food arrived quickly, and everything looked beautifully presented, which made the meal feel extra special.
We tried the Golden California roll, seared salmon nigiri, and salmon sashimi, and the quality of the fish was fresh and flavorful. The presentation was nice and the portions were satisfying. They also have a large menu with plenty of options to choose from, and it’s convenient that they offer delivery through Uber, Grubhub, and DoorDash. Overall, a great spot for quality sushi and a pleasant dining experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place was good! I love sushi and Thai, its my absolute favorite so I always have high expectations lol. I got shrimp pad thai which I usually always get. I was impressed with the amount of shrimp in the dish, and they were really good too. The spring rolls were amazing as well, they came out very hot. My friends got the larb and the ramen which they enjoyed as well. They do have a restroom for patrons. The service was quick. You can either sit and get waitor service or you can order yourself at the front then sit. Parking was a little hard but it was a Saturday night about 930.

We were excited to see a new Sushi option in the neighborhood. It’s located inside the Thai restaurant. You can order from either menu too which is nice for a wide variety of options. We had the California Crunch, Chefs Roll, and Spider Roll. The California Crunch lived up-to its name and was very crispy. It was a good balance of crunch and fresh ingredients. The spider roll was good and pretty standard. The tuna in the Chefs Roll was delicious. It was a bit big for the roll but I would totally get a Poke Bowl or Sushi burrito with that tuna. So tasty. Excited to try other items in the future.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and were excited to try some highly rated sushi near our Airbnb. This restaurant popped up, and after reading the reviews, we decided to give it a shot.
When we arrived, the place seemed fine—nothing remarkable but welcoming enough. We ordered a Spider Roll, a Tiger Roll, and two Thai teas to go. Our Airbnb is only 4 minutes away, so the food was still fresh when we sat down to eat.
Unfortunately, our experience went downhill quickly. My first bite of the Spider Roll was extremely dry, lacked flavor, and was just unpleasant. My husband tried his Tiger Roll and said it was overly fishy, dry, and just not enjoyable. To make matters worse, our Thai teas had an odd, funky taste—nothing like the Thai tea we’ve had elsewhere.
We paid $76 for this meal, which felt like a complete waste. After just a couple bites of each roll, we threw the rest away, along with the teas. Overall, the sushi was not good at all, and I cannot recommend this place for sushi or drinks.
I can’t speak for their actual Thai food—it may be better—but we won’t be returning to find out.

both me and my partner started feeling sick the morning after consuming the sushi for dinner. both our symptoms align with mild food poisoning such as: nausea, stomach aches, excess gas, diarrhea. i typically have a sensitive stomach but he can get away with eating anything so it was very surprising to me that he also felt unwell. we also haven’t consumed anything else prior or since the sushi so unfortunately i think the sushi was the culprit.

Finally there’s another sushi option in Columbia City! The fish quality here is great and Chef Mikko really knows his stuff. We got the salmon lovers combo along with a Chef roll which were both tasty. We’ll definitely be back for more.
