What a great place to grab a quick slice of pie!!! Bread sticks were good and pizza was foldable and delicious!!! I didn’t catch our cashier’s name unfortunately but she was stellar at explaining how it worked and what was available! Also making sure we got the best bang for our buck! They bathroom was clean and wide enough for a wheelchair if needed. Various seating allowances as well! The chalk wall was dope! Thanks for a great way to pie our day!!!

Love Lucky Slice!! Love the food, the atmosphere and the service. The price of the CauliBuds though? Geeeeez. I ate the whole small container that was almost $18 with the tip, service fee for ordering online and tax. And after they were gone? I was still hungry. ☹️

Lucky Slice Pizza delivers exactly what great neighborhood pizza should: bold flavor, creative combinations, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a balance between laid-back and lively. The space feels clean and energetic, with a steady rhythm of customers grabbing slices, families sharing pies, and regulars clearly on a first-name basis with the staff. Service is efficient without feeling rushed—orders come out quickly, and the team keeps things moving while staying friendly and attentive.
The pizza itself is the star. The crust hits that ideal middle ground: sturdy enough to hold generous toppings, yet soft inside with a satisfying chew and crisp edge. Their specialty slices are where Lucky Slice separates itself. Unexpected topping combinations are thoughtfully constructed rather than gimmicky, delivering layered flavor in every bite. Sauces are well-balanced, cheeses are properly melted and evenly distributed, and ingredients taste fresh.
Portion sizes are generous, especially by the slice, making it easy to sample more than one variety. Whether you opt for a classic pepperoni or one of their more adventurous creations, consistency and quality remain strong across the board.
Value is another standout factor. Pricing feels fair for the quality and size, making it a smart choice for everything from a quick lunch to a casual group dinner.
Overall Verdict:
Lucky Slice Pizza succeeds because it doesn’t overcomplicate things—it simply executes creative, high-quality pizza extremely well. It’s the kind of place that earns repeat visits, not just because it’s convenient, but because it’s genuinely good.

Great pizza by the slice restaurant. I love their thin crust. My kids usually get the meat lovers. I love the marghie. We frequently try out one of their seasonal specials as well (mixed results on those, but that’s to be expected, in my opinion. They’re experimental). This is a favorite anytime we’re in the the Layton area.

I think Lucky Slice might be the best pizza in Utah. I moved here from New York a few years ago and it’s impossible to get a good slice here. This place hits the spot. And the vibes are impeccable

Lucky Slice Pizza in Clearfield is an absolute gem! Their New York style pizza is perfection crispy, chewy crust, zesty sauce, and generous toppings that burst with flavor. I’ve tried the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac slice, and it was a heavenly combo of creamy mac, smoky pork, and mozzarella & others including there dill pickle pizza. The staff is incredibly friendly, creating a warm, welcoming vibe. Quick service, huge slices, and vegan options make it a go-to spot. Don’t miss the chocolate chunk cookie it’s divine! A must-visit for pizza lovers near Hill Air Force Base

We ordered Lucky Slice last night (my kids’ ultimate favorite). We received a text that our food was close to arriving. Upon arrivial, I noticed all the dipping sauces were missing. I text back and within a few minutes new sauces were delivered! 5 stars easily on service. The pizza of course was good as always.

On Saturday afternoon, we decided to come here after my daughter’s cosmetology fashion show at Clearfield high school. I thought it would be like the one in Ogden but it’s a little different. The pizza for the most part is really good, but I did try the southwest pizza and it was not very good to me. It had refried beans on it and the combination did not taste good. I immediately went back and ordered a different slice, which I got the margarita and that one was really good. My daughter loved the dill Pizza . The breadsticks were amazing. For some strange reason, the cream soda was not good as well. I don’t know if they needed to fix the machine or if that was just the flavor of the brand, but it was not good. Service was great.

I dont know why I was expecting the food to be spectacular so maybe its my fault for having high expectations haha. My breadsticks were really really good but my pizza was just “eh”. I wanted really good ranch and I even ordered 2 extra. Biggest let down, it had so much dill added into it thats all you could taste. Maybe thats a well known thing? The house made ranch at pizza places is usually really really good. Sadly I would not order that again
