My stake dinner was absolutely better than expected. I’m a foodie so I judge hard. But honestly it was fantastic. The server lady also works for the post office. She is just trying to make ends meet. She did a fabulous job. Make sure to tip her please

Not even done with our visit and we’re unsatisfied, contemplating canceling our order.
Beer is served almost room temperature, server and bartender was a serious grump.
We were never offered a drink refill.
The cold Cheese sticks were served with old lettuce and an orange??? We were happy about the jalapeño but that was also cold.
The gentleman running the food out is working quickly and noticeably hard he’s being very kind and helpful.
The meal itself came out quickly and cooked well, it was just basic nothing delicious.
Personally would not recommend.
Cost verse quality doesn’t add up.

Place was a cozy little mom and pops restaurant and bar near the lake. Perfect spot to grab some lunch in between fishing. Atmosphere was awesome and food was great. The lady serving us was kinda rude but no biggie. Maybe it was just a bad day for her. But definitely come get the elk burger.

It was our family’s first time exploring and staying in a cabin at Eagle’s Nest and decided to try this place! Horrible service by an elderly lady with long blonde hair! I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 10 years and managed as well! She is one good reason why they lost business today and I will never come here again. There was a family of about 8 people that also walked out and I can only imagine why! Thanks to her rudeness and lack of customer service we ended up going to Mikuna Grill! They sure know how to treat customers and the food was delicious!! I sure wished I could of read the reviews before coming here! Lesson learned!! Your new in town dont waste your money here!!

I had chicken strip basket. The fries were thin with no flavor. Chicken strips were served with ranch, gravy wasn’t an option. My husband had BLT, bacon was way over cooked, very skimpy sandwich, served with chips. Expensive for what you get. He ordered a beer, upon looking at the expiration date, it EXPIRED January 11, 20. It’s July 2025. When brought to the attention of the server, her response was, covid wasn’t good to any of us. Those bottles had to have been dusted off many times in 5 YEARS!! It was expensive for tasteless food and expired beer. I wouldn’t waist my money or time there.

Good was excellent. We had the house salad with a hamburger. Salad has a variety of lettuces and fresh vegetables with egg and mushrooms. Burger was cooked well with lots of vegetables, including a grilled hatch chili. Dining room looks like the owners are trying to make it a sports bar. Comfortable and clean, though. Our complaint was the slow service. Looks like there was only one server and she had a poor attitude, rather disinterested in us and more interested in the table of gentlemen near us.

If I could, I would not even give one star, we were not even given the opportunity to even try the food, but it was the service from the very beginning. Actually, we never even got to order anything but our appetizers amd s rinks and were told about 10 minutes later that they had not even been started. I do understand whenever there is one person and one cook that there could be a problem with timing, but we were absolutely willing to wait. I would like to get it out there that the owners wife is fabulous at running off customers. She cannot even handle a nine top. She asked us to leave because she couldn’t handle servicing us as a table of nine when there were very few people in the restaurant. I will say the drinks were great though. And there was a generous woman that offered to help her and she doesn’t even have enough respect for her own employees. I’m not even sure if she was an employee, but maybe a friend that offered to help. For you I am so sorry that we were asked basically to leave because she could not handle us because we would’ve tipped you all day long. She has no idea the amount of money that came in there this evening that she just lost out on.

The waitress was great last night and the food was good. However, the owner was a total grouch, with no smile on her face and incredibly rude in her engagement. Always amazies me in a customer service industry.
