We went during the day just to go to the restaurant and not to gamble or go to the races. Someone had told my husband this location had excellent food. I got cashew chicken. I ended up basically just eating my rice. It did not taste good and was not really hot. I tasted my kids orange chicken, it was mushy like it was days old. The location was really dark…to keep you from seeing the food? To make it romantic?? Not sure. So dark it was hard to even see the menus. The waitress was kind and efficient. They have aquariums with live fish and pretty Christmas trees. The aquariums and Christmas trees were the best part.

I arrived at 227 pm. I was told that they were not taking anyone else for dining in. It would have to be a to-go order. I didn’t understand at all. They didn’t close until 3. I was told that the kitchen closed at 245. I still didn’t understand, since my order could have been put in and brought out to me by 245. My other issue is that if they are going to close down the kitchen before closing time, change your business hours. I live about an hour and a half from Lucky Palace. I called before I drove to Bossier City from Shreveport. I called at 158 pm to ask questions. It seems to me that the lady answering the phone should have told me that I couldn’t sit down to eat at that point. The owner was standing there part of the time and said nothing. I was so frustrated that I was unable to function after this exchange. The owner came out to apologize and attempt to fix it after I compained to a casino manager. Not sure why she didn’t say anything while I was inside the restaurant as she watched. I asked her what time they stop seating people for dining in. She responded at 230. Again, I don’t understand since I was there at 227. A totally horrible experience, especially for someone with severe PTSD due to time in Afghanistan. The owner told me to come back so she can make it right. Shame on her for having to try to fix something that never should have happened.

REALLY GOOD black bean beef, it is something my lolo would make for me. tastes like home! we also had mushu duck which was incredible. veggies had a great crunch! well cooked. great green beans, 100/10. going back for the chili oil chicken, pork and pickled cabbage soup, and other wonderful cantonese delights! the appetizer plate was silly, but it was really fun to use.

Pretty good Chinese food in a really shady location, It didn’t feel great getting out of the car because the area is a little rough. However it is significantly different on the inside.

The appetizers(9 out of 10) were our favorite part of the meal. I really enjoyed the truffle wings. The fried rice was okay. I was expecting a little more seasoning in the fried rice(7 out of 10). But the portions of the main dishes(Mongolian beef and duck) were generous and tasted pretty good I preferred the Mongolian beef(8 out of 10) over the Duck(6.5 out of 10).

We had the pleasure of dining at Lucky Palace this week, and wow, what a treat! It was our first visit since they relocated to the race track and casino complex, and we’re absolutely impressed. We were there early but by the time we had finished our meals the place was filling fast. This place has always been one of the best-kept secrets in the Caddo/Bossier restaurant scene, and now they’ve stepped it up with a stunning new home. We’ve been fans for years thanks to their delicious food and top-notch service, and now it’s an all-around amazing experience. If the casino vibe isn’t your thing, no worries! You can easily enter through the north entrance and head straight into the restaurant from the main lobby. The beautiful aquarium and incredible selection of fine wines really add to the charm of their new space. Plus, the menu is extensive and sure to please everyone! Congratulations to Lucky Palace on this exciting new chapter—wishing you all the best for the future!

amazing food, the general tso’s chicken is phenominal, my original entree was the jalapeno chicken, which was amazing as well, but less my cup of tea, so i swapped with the person i was with for the general tso’s. the service was great as well. the wait on the entrees was short, only about 10 minutes, and my drink was never empty. the atmosphere is great, especially with the lighting, and decor choice. 10/10 would definitly recommend

Drove an hour to come eat here because their website states they are open on Sunday from 11am-3pm only to get here and find out they are closed even though the sign outside the restaurant states same thing that they are open. Beyond pissed I used to refer a lot of people to try this restaurant but I won’t make that mistake again. Get your stuff together Lucky Palace

When we came in, neither of the two employees wanted to seat us as they both thought they were on break.
Waiter could not tell me anything about House Specialties or any of the duck menu items. We split an order of Peking Duck. It was good albeit not a 1/2 duck as it said on menu.
Their air was not working so they had fans everywhere. There were flies and knats by our table at the window. There was old trash outside in the courtyard. Why would they sit us there when there were plenty of other seats?

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The wait staff was attentive and acomodating without being obtrusive. The food was delicious. They were sensitive to my Vegan choice and accommodated me. There were appetizers already there and not just spring rolls. I will revisit.
