I got the Tom Yum noodle scoop with veggies and tofu medium spicy, and it was exactly what i wanted and needed. the flavors were rich, complex, and just spicy enough to give it a warm bite.
My friend got the Pad See Ew with chicken and said it was incredible. we both cleared our plates (she said she was a little too full, but I felt perfectly satisfied with the noodle soup)
Definitely one of our new Thai favorites in Denver.
The food here is out of this world — but the real magic is Ploy, the owner. She doesn’t just serve food; she serves comfort, joy, and a sense that you’ve somehow wandered into the kitchen of your long-lost Thai aunt who loves you very much. Her presence makes you feel instantly at home, and her cooking feels like a warm hug from the inside out.
We started with the roti, and I’m still thinking about it. The pork was perfectly sweet, the roti had that perfect char, and honestly… I’d fight someone for the last piece. Then came the Khao Soi, and I swear time stopped for a second. The broth had layers of flavor I didn’t even know existed. The chicken was crispy, tender, and just… perfection. You can taste the love and soul that went into that bowl.
Ploy, if you ever write a cookbook, I’ll be the first in line. Until then, I’ll just keep showing up here like it’s my new religion.
Tonight my wife ventured into the Pad Thai while I stayed loyal to my forever favorite, the Khao Soi. Her Pad Thai? Tangy, bright, perfectly cooked noodles with chicken and aromatics that had us both staring at the plate like it just told us a secret. And don’t even get us started on the lemon honey tea we are fully addicted.
But the real magic here is Ploy herself. She pours so much love into every dish and every person who walks through her doors. You feel it. You taste it. You see how passionate she is about sharing comfort, culture, and joy through her food. She’s truly one of the warmest souls in Denver.
Also huge news, she will be open on Thanksgiving and Christmas, blessing the city with holiday cheer in noodle form. If you need a place to feel at home, this is it.
Lucky Noodles is a 10/10, life-changing, soul-hugging experience. We’ll be back… probably tomorrow.
