Imagine being allergic to something and they accidentally serve it to you… Then they act like it’s not a big deal…This use to be my spot the only Chinese food I’d order from…I’m done with this place and I learned it is under knew ownership…. The new people running this place are making it terrible. Egg rolls are soaked in oil and I use to love their egg rolls. The rice is not the same, it’s very greasy. Lucky kitchen use to be my place to go when I wanted Chinese food for years. Now it’s time to find a new place.

My fave Chinese takeout spot in West Haven! I’ve ordered from Lucky Kitchen several times, and the food is delicious every time. The prices are unbeatable- tons of lunch specials for under $10. The man at the counter is always super friendly, too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great takeout place.

I usually don’t leave reviews much less bad ones. However, this place was worthy of one in a negative way. I ordered the general tso chicken with vegetable fried rice and:
-The food was soggy and tasted stale
-The tso chicken barely had any color (other looked whiteish rather than the natural general tso brown color) and was tasteless
Something was just off about the food. I don’t ever plan to order from here again.

I usually like ordering from lucky kitchen but today I ordered them through Uber eats and they messed up my order. I ordered the lunch sweet and sour chicken with white rice but I got the chicken, no sweet and sour sauce, and pork fried rice. I’m very disappointed in them
