Easily the worst cashew chicken I’ve ever had. Had maybe 4 cashews and the rest was giant pieces of fried chicken with no flavor and was tough. No vegetables included with chicken. Fried rice was under cooked. Disappointing.

We ordered on door dash for pickup and the food was on time with a reasonably polite staff. However the inside of the restaurant feels as though there are likely numerous health code violations at any given time. And the food is subpar for standard Chinese restaurant food while still being overpriced. The chicken was just dropped in a pool of sauce rather than cooked in it. The taste was fine but overall just very unimpressed

i ordered food online last night at 6pm. Me and my son were sitting in the living room the whole time where the front door is. At 745pm i finally called them. She said have you checked outside. I said no i’m sitting right here and no one knocked. She says they won’t knock. I Ordered straight from them Not Uber or Doordash. They have their own delivery driver, and it said it was preferred by the restaurant. But of course Uber and DoorDash they don’t usually knock cause they have tracking App so you can see when it’s delivered. Lucky house does not have a delivery app. So you don’t know the food is there if no one knocks. So i do check the door. There it is on its side up against the door. I can’t even open the door without knocking it completely over. Crap was spilled all over, the food was cold cause no one knocked there is no tracking app and had no way of knowing the food was there. The driver also screwed himself out of a tip. But i’m sure it didn’t matter cause my total was 74.39 with taxes but charged me 93.67 on my card. So almost gave themselves an extra 20.00 when online it says 6.00 delivery charge. If you do delivery at least use Uber or DoorDash. So you can at least track your order and tip, and know when your food is actually delivered.

I had a really good experience with Lucky House restaurant both times I’ve ordered takeout! They are prompt with their orders and very friendly! Their food is always really good and they give you large portions for the amount you pay! I highly recommend if you’re living in or visiting Pulaski county!

This was the worst food I’ve ever had, horrible isnt strong enough. Ordered chicken chow mein and was given a container of cooked celery and onions,. Ordered sweet sour shrimp, got a container of popcorn chicken with red thin sauce poured on it. fried rice which looked like rice with soy sauce, no vegetables, and about a hand full of some popcorn size shrimp just tossed in. ALL THE FOOD tasteless, I asked for Teriyaki chicken and told a dish was similar, chicken bour something, worse than horrible, brown tasteless sauce filled with onions smothering the chicken pieces.
When I told them, they just said they could add sugar?. Other than that they took no responsibility for the food and when I questioned chow mein should have noodles I was asked if I’m from out of town?
I wouldn’t let my dog eat this food
I also see they only respond to people who say good things. So no response needed, just one more car that won’t be in your empty parking lot.
It was also inappropriate to have a daycare looking atmosphere with piles of kids stuff sitting around your tables, and It was nice you had time to make your own dinner while we were still there , paying no attention to what I said, and no option to return and you schooling me that chow mein doesn’t have noodles, you took back threw in wok and just and added some.
I guess where I come from Chop suey is vegetables, every Chinese restaurant I’ve been too chow mein has noodles.
It was clear this business is not very important and not a priority.
Everyone do yourself a favor, stay away, I wasted 45 on this food, what a waste.

We get Lucky House usually after Sports or other late appointments and we never really had a bad experience. Its tasty, its a good size Portion and the Lady at the Window is always so sweet. We like it 🙂

I just moved to the area and thought ordering out for my favorite food would be great after moving for two days , I sure didn’t want to cook. Just eat and sleep. I ordered two meals sweet sour chicken with rice and general Cho chicken with rice. It was over $40 plus a tip for delivery. The time and service was excellent, but as for the food not so great it didn’t taste anything like Chinese other than the rice, it was basically chicken tenders with no flavor sauce. I’m no chef but I could have cooked that and probably would have tasted better with sauces from the store, also it would have cost me way less to make. So I guess all and all next time I’m feeling like a night off from cooking , I’ll just save the money and just cook it myself. Sorry for the bad review, if wouldn’t have costed so much I probably wouldn’t have said anything but….

We had this food delivered and it was not great. This is the 2nd time we had this food and fear that we won’t be returning and rather driving to Rolla to get Chinese from now on. The chicken looks like it had sat out under the warmers for hours before being served. Not only that but the chicken is only half covered in the sauce. We had the sweet and sour chicken and the cashew chicken that both looked like this. It’s unfortunate that this is the only Chinese restaurant in town.

Food was good! We got the garlic sauce breaded chicken and general chicken. And when they asked for small or large we should have said small lol portions were huge!!! Over all the garlic chicken was better.

I went through the drive through and as you pull up there is a purse in the window with a note that says it’s for sell …. For the sweet and sour chicken they give the option of white meat or dark meat. The breading on it is not the traditional breading. It’s more like like a breaded chicken nugget. It was also quite tough. The sauce was very watery but tasted okay. The chicken wings had a great crunch but tasted a little off. I’m assuming it was from the lack of seasoning and also the oil it was fried in. The crab Rangoon was very good as well as the steamed rice. The plain fried rice tasted good but I didn’t care for the unseasoned fried chicken skin through out it. Overall the portion sizes are great as well as the rice and Rangoon but it’s kind of hard to mess up rice. The entrees were not good enough to eat so it was kinda waste of $17.
