Dropped in for their Mercury Sandwich Week special. Came away imprwzsed by the custoner service, range of cocktails, and quality of great Italian food. Definitely worth a visit but can be busy if there a show next door at the Clinton St Theater.

Butter Pecan Gelato…get that! Skip the Spring fling pizza it really lacks flavor or salt. It’s as if the pizza saying ‘this is what you get! pizza should have meat!’
Place was packed inside and out during dinner hours on a Monday…cocktail was delicious

Now under new ownership, the Lucky Horseshoe Lounge as reimagined its cocktail and food menu with an Italian theme. The cocktails are amazing and are nicely priced with many at just $10. And the Pork Cutlet Sandwich is tasty!

LOVE THIS SPOT. Food and cocktails are both absolutely delicious, and every person behind the bar is delightful. It’s a neighborhood essential and we go every chance we can get.

I almost didn’t want to give them a good review so that we could keep this gem for ourselves. Truly a slice of heaven with amazing food, staff, drinks and atmosphere. Come for pizza night! It makes each of my Monday’s a little better

During the Clinton street fair, We decided to order a drink and enjoy the surrounding sights and sounds of the street fair. The bad part was our visit to, “the Lucy horseshoe lounge” they treated my wife like she was an unwanted guest. We sat in the patio area, I went inside to order a drink, a team member from the lounge approached my wife and proceeded to tell her she could not sit in the patio area. She was told it was for customer only. They didn’t ask if she wanted to order a drink or food. When I came back to the table from ordering drinks, my wife shared her interaction with the lounge employee. We didn’t want the employee to disrupt our street fair experience and proceeded to drink and stay in the patio area. While we drank, we witnessed several other people sitting in the patio area with outside food and drinks. No employee ever approached them about using the lounge patio area with outside food or drinks. The one thing that stood out between our table and the others was our ethnic background. Based on our experience the lucky horseshoe lounge treats ethnic people differently than Caucasian people. I would recommend staying away from this lounge especially if you are not Caucasian!

The food is really good and everything is well priced, but the service is non-existent. The one female bartender seemed irritated with us when we walked in. We sat at a table and ordered the food from the QR code. We also got our own water which I’m fine with. But other than bringing over the one n/a drink I ordered, neither bartender checked on us or asked how our food was. We got two salads and two sandwiches so plenty of time to check on us. The only interaction we had was with the male bartender who waa much nicer and brought our sandwiches, but still never checked in. When you close your check on your phone it defaults to 25%. For what? Why would I leave 25% for someone who didn’t even speak with me and when Imt doing pretty much half the work myself? 25% is a full service restaurant gratuity and honestly If they interacted with us even a little bit I would have been fine with that. The kitchen staff brought our first food round out and they were very nice. We came in on a Friday night and it was pretty empty, (us at a table and a couple people at the bar), so it is not like they were too busy to engage. I have been here once before and it was a much better experience so not writing this place off, but tonights experience was sub par. Food was bomb though.

Tried it for the first time on a Monday, and wasn’t stoked for pizza…. & OH MY GOD, I would have eaten this twice. The Marinara and Burrata Pizza was *chefs kiss* SO FLAVORFUL. They made this thing in a portable pizza oven?!? Highly impressive.
—THEIR DEVILED EGGS ARE THE BEST IVE HAD IN PORTLAND—- Perfectly spicy and creamy, no vinegar taste.
•Classic drinks are delish! The Corpse Reviver II was our favorite cocktail•

DON’T get the deviled eggs! Bland and expensive. 6 dollars for 1 and 1/2 eggs?! But other than that the Service was great and the sandwiches were tasty!
