Very quiet and beautiful little bar located in The Little America hotel! I am from Florida and booked this hotel as a surprise for my long distance boyfriend as he never has stayed at a luxury hotel before. This had all the amenities and it was right smacked in the middle of downtown SLC, so everything you want to do is in walking distance. Our room was upgraded and we ended up staying an extra night because one night wasn’t enough to explore all of this hotel in its wonder.
We decided to check out the bar next to the coffee shop. My favorite cocktail is a Moscow mule with tequila because I like it spicy, so basically a Mexican mule. This bartender definitely knew what he was doing! Instead of ginger beer he added some fancy ginger liquor instead and I said go ahead let’s try it! It was definitely music to my tastebuds, could’ve been a little spicier but that’s just me, I love spicy.
But for a gourmet type of drink, definitely reccomend that ginger liquor over the beer.
A bit pricey, but you’re getting quality and quantity, everything is fresh and delicious, they also serve food if you want a snack.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and had a classic vibe to it, definitely recommend!

I love, love, love the elderflower martini at Lucky H. The service can be friendly or abrupt, it just depends on the server. The menu was recently updated and gluten-free designations were removed. I ordered a salad and was told the ranch wasn’t gluten-free – that was a first. The french fries, which should just be potatoes, are breaded and aren’t GF. There are no bread/bun alternatives. If you’re GF, the menu is extremely limited.

Very disappointed considering this hotel is beautiful and elegant. Service was the minimum but he clearly didn’t care. Bartender was ok. I know SLC isn’t known for food. It clearly showed. Meal was not great. It was edible but severely lacked seasoning. For a Saturday it was slow so I’m sure they need to cut the menu and offer basics they can prepare well. Drinks were 7/10. Not great but I’ve had way worse!
