The service was very good really nice people there. The food was not great the egg rolls are not worth the money. The pho was the worse pho I have ever had. The fried rice had good flavor but you don’t get much.

The Thai food here is okay for what it is. It is short from being good or amazing. The portion size that you get served is adequate enough to make you feel full.

I gave this place a 3/5 stars because of how poorly ventilated the dining area was. It felt like sitting in a hot summer building with no cool central air running, and how poor the service was. We didn’t see our server for more than 10 minutes after we placed in our drink order, and we never got a check in from the server when we finally received our food. The server wasn’t prompt, courteous, or attentive. I would be hesitant to come back and dine here again because of that experience. I would rather go somewhere else than go here again.

The pho is so flavorful, and I love that you can get the beef broth but choose your protein (or no protein at all). Portion are huge— in a good way!

Enjoyed our meal at Lucky Ginger! We enjoyed the spicy garlic edamame to start and then the curry and chicken Pho. Both the Curry and Pho were super flavorful and delicious!

Fantastic food, cocktails, and service. We sat up at the bar, but had the friendliest bartender and beyond amazing service from her! She was incredibly helpful with recommendations, as well as timely with getting drinks (which were equally delicious). Could not recommend more!

If you’re on the hunt for a chill, fuss‑free spot near the downtown arena, Lucky Ginger is a solid pick. This fusion Asian restaurant—part of Milwaukee’s lively Water Street scene—has a bright, comfortable space with cream‑city brick walls and big windows overlooking the river . The front houses a cozy bar with stools, and seating toward the back gives that relaxed, intimate vibe. Overall, it’s unapologetically casual.

Now, the food. The drunken noodles hit the mark and the perfect fortifying dish for any night on the town. The pho was also a standout: fragrant star‑anise broth, beautifully textured noodles, and tender cuts of beef—authentic enough to get you saying, “this is real pho”

But the MVP of the meal? The dumplings. These house‑made gems boast thick, chewy skins with a flavorful pork filling, served with standout gingery and side sauces that elevate each bite.

Service and atmosphere add to its charm—friendly staff, bar‑vibes without pretension, and a casual, upbeat tone throughout . If you want something authentic that doesn’t feel pretentious, this is your go‑to. Just know that for to‑go orders, some reviewers mention inconsistent portion sizes—best to dine in for full value .

Loved the Massaman curry! The Pho was great as well. Poke belly was crispy and perfectly flavored.

The drunken noodles were missing something, texture, flavor, I don’t know.

Waitresses were very quiet and didn’t stop by except to refill water and walk away. They were nice though!

Ordered takeout for my birthday meal and this was the first Thai restaurant we found that was open on a Monday evening. Can’t comment on the service or atmosphere since we ate at home, but we’ll definitely be going back to check those things out because our Massaman Curry and Red Curry with Tofu were really, really good. This was the second-best tasting Red Curry I’ve had in Milwaukee, hence the four-star rating. The tofu was fried, which gave it a nice texture. I wish it had more vegetables in it, but there were a few red peppers, green peppers and bamboo shoots. It definitely could have used way more veggies. The rice was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed our dishes immensely. This dish was recommended to me by my fellow vegans and they were right on the money. Looking at the menu I didn’t see much in the way of vegan entrees, but a vegan can certainly get this dish and be happy and satisfied.

Phenomenal food, I’ve yet to find pho this good anywhere else in the country. There isn’t a thing on the menu I’ve had that was bad. I’m a big fan of Korean spare ribs, pork belly, calamari, basil fried rice, etc… the drunken noodles are again some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The service has always been great. The people are true Milwaukee locals that know the area and are almost like family. The only way you’re having a bad time is if you brought it with you.
Whether you’re there for drinks and shots while watching the game, a family event, or just to hang out and enjoy great food, Lucky Ginger is thee spot. 5 stars cause I can’t give 6

A cute vibe of a restaurant! Staff was friend while we came here for lunch. We had the following.

– Beef on a stick (tender jerky feel – good flavor)
– Pork Belly (also on a stick) – there’s a good mixture of meat and fat which was crispy!
– Dumplings ; they said it would take 25 but came out pretty quick.
– Basil Fried Rice

The items we got were pretty good although I feel it could be missing something. We’ll certainly be back again to try their other dishes! Overall food was good and experience was great!
