Lucky Duck Grill is full-service restaurant in Artesia, NM. We offer breakfast from 6-10:30 am every day. Our lunch and dinner menu has fantastic burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, homemade onion rings, and now we’ve added pizza and wings! We’ve put a lot of time and thought into our menu, so we hope you enjoy our unique recipes and friendly service. Dining room is open until 2 PM every day. Dining room is open 6a-8p for the Reno/Roswell Air Races 9/9-9/13.

For our first time the floors were nasty, tables needed to be cleaned. It took a while for us to be seated. It took a while for us to get our drinks and the sweet tea was nasty. We ordered chips and salsa but that took a while too. The chips were a mix of hard , mushy and crunchy . They were fresh and not given enough time to drain so they were greasy . After we placed our order it was another hour wait before it was brought to the table.
I had to get up from the table three times just to refill our drinks.
Our waitress seemed very distracted and unable to complete more than one task at a time.
At times it felt like she was ignoring us.
The food was pretty good. They have a unique sauce that they use on their Big Duct Frys (loaded waffle fries.)
Bad service can ruin a good meal very quickly.
We live out of town, perhaps we can try this restaurant again at another time.

Everything was so delicious and amazing. I didn’t save room for a shake but I’ll try next time. The chicken and burger together were amazing!!! Seems like my fries could have been a little done before the rest the food but still delicious.

My husband and I ate at the Lucky Duck Grill for the first time tonight. Excellent food. We had the chicken sandwich with homemade onion rings and the cheese burger with waffle fries. Large portions of onion rings and fries. The food and beverage prices are spot on. Great friendly wait staff and chef. We will be coming back here more often!

Every time I order something from here my order never comes out right I ordered a Cuban sandwich paid $16 and this is what I got. It’s not worth the money one slice of ham one slice of bacon, Took 45 minutes to make this there was no one in the dining area shame on lucky ducks service is really poor and the price you pay is overrated..

The service here was so good! Our waiter was very nice and consistently checked up on us. We got the B3 burger and Buff Chick sandwich and both were good. We especially liked the waffle fries! They’re in the Best Western hotel but it’s a totally separate business. Definitely give it a try!

Tried to eat here today. Waited over 20 minutes just to get our menus and our drink order. Meanwhile, people coming in after us were getting theirs. Finally got our food order in after 40 minutes, the waitress said she would discount our meal because of the wait. After over an hour of being there, my family was done waiting. I was so looking forward to the chicken basket with onion rings, but the family wouldn’t let me wait any longer. The picture is what I saw for so long, an empty table.

Every time we order food from here there’s something wrong with it. Today first instead of a Bacon Cheeseburger I got a Bacon Cheese Chicken, after driving BACK to town for a replacement and getting home it was RAW!

Stayed at hotel and got breakfast included. I will stay at this hotel just to get the breakfast! Carnivore breakfast – bacon cooked to order and they got it right! My coffee cup was never empty – great service.
