Lucky Dragon in Ashland, NH? More like Very Lucky Me.
The service was top-tier, the kid that was handing out there doing his homework, was hilarious, polite, and casually mentioned the place might be haunted. 10/10 for entertainment value and ghostly ambiance. Nothing spices up dinner like the possibility of a friendly spirit delivering your egg rolls.
Speaking of those egg rolls, delicious. Didn’t taste like diapers, trash, or regret. Just crispy, flavorful perfection. The sweet and sour chicken was cooked so well it should be in a museum. The shrimp lo mein? Fabulous. The Szechuan shrimp? Absolute perfection, the kind of dish that makes you question your loyalty to all other shrimp.
The orange chicken was crispy, tangy, and everything your taste buds wish for when you’re pretending to “just have a bite.” Huge portions, too. You’ll swear they’re feeding a family of six even if you showed up solo.
The rice was fluffy and didn’t have that “someone forgot to clean the wok for three weeks” flavor. The oil was fresh, the air smelled good (which, let’s be honest, is rare for takeout joints), and the whole place had this clean, welcoming vibe, ghosts and all.
If you’re anywhere near Ashland and don’t stop by Lucky Dragon, you’re doing life wrong.

This was my first visit. We ordered take-out. The young man taking the order and working the front was very sweet.
The food was pretty good! I liked the crab rangoons, and loved the hot & sour soup. The soup alone will keep me coming back.
The lo mein was decent, but I didn’t care for the fried rice or generals. The pork was really yummy, a bit of char but not too much just the right amount. The egg roll was not for me, I wouldn’t order them again.
The chicken fingers were decent.
We will definitely be back, finding good Chinese here is hard. I’m used to China Station in Lebanon which is the absolute best.

I wanna start off by saying I wish I could put a 0 the beef and chicken on. A stick terrible no flavor and tasted just old the crab ragoons we’re not sweet like expected instead they we’re sour we got a player for two their was nothing worth eating in it we went out of our way to try this one instead of our home town one because they have Chinese donuts sad to say even those are worth the extra 20min drive the the duck sauce not it I don’t recommend anything from here save your money

Food was amazingly delicious – my husband usually won’t go for Chinese food but he loved this place. Everything was great and the service was excellent. We loved that the owner came by to check in. Some soft music during dinner would’ve been great as it was really quiet.

Chicken Mei Fun – chicken is the first word in the name of this dish but — where’s the chicken? I have ordered this dish several times and started ordering and paying for extra chicken each time. A container filled with a big heap of noodles. Disappointed.

Wow! Super good. The pork fried rice is the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband loved the sesame chicken it was delicious. My husband was shocked by how reasonable the prices were too. Very nice people too which is also hard to find. Highly recommended! Thank you, we will definitely be back! Food for 4 for $35!!!!

portion size was great, quality of the food was practically inedible. Didn’t even get a full bite in. Waste of money.

This was our second time coming to this wonderful Chinese restaurant. And that is only because we live in Rhode Island. Otherwise, we would be here weekly for sure! We absolutely love the food, and can’t get anything like it in our state. Always so fresh and flavorful, you know it is made to order. We especially love the Wonton soup, the shrimp Egg Foo young, and the shrimp with pea pods. Shrimp pop when you cut them, veggies snap, nothing overcooked. And talk about large servings!! We are always full after our soup but have to try more items because everything is so good. Unfortunately we usually only come up this way once a year. Today, after having dined here last night, we placed a large order to take back home with us because we know how much we will miss this place. This is a wonderful, family owned business who know what they are doing. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Already planning our next visit.
