April 12, 2025 Lucky Dogs ordering was quick and easy. Service was helpful. I had a regular chili dog with cheese and enjoyed it. I recommend this location.

The fellow reviewer who states he should have known better, is absolutely correct. The line for everything else was much longer. It can’t be just because it’s a hot dog. Thes quality just doesn’t meet the standard for a place to call themselves a hot dog place since 1948. It’s in the airport so I’ll give it that, but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Try the several restaurants next door

The service was fine. I should’ve known something was up when hardly no one was in line at a busy airport. As a hotdog connoisseur, I was so excited to try a hotdog from a place that has been in New Orleans for 75 years. I simply don’t get it. It tasted like a cheap grocery store hotdog. I took just a few bites because I was starving and then threw it away. I got food at another place. The prices are reasonable, but for a good reason. Trust me, if you think this is going to be a delicious hotdog, you are going to be sorely, miserably disappointed.

Great food and awesome customer service! Loved the hot dogs! The soft pretzel was delicious! Cold drinks and reasonable prices for an airport. Highly recommend when coming to or from New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport!

I wanted to try a local place while in the airport so I tried Lucky Dogs. They have a cute little set up boasting that they have been a local favorite for decades. Perhaps I am just too accustomed to Chicago Style dogs but I just wasn’t a fan of my almost $18 hot dog and bottle of soda meal. It’s an airport location, so we all expect high prices however, it is still just a hot dog.
The service was great and very personable. There are also other snack type items on the menu that would have been fun to try, but I would have been able to almost feed a family for the total price of adding more to my bill, so I stopped.

Never got the chance to eat here. We are here right now wanting to try. The guy was on his phone just talking and didn’t acknowledge us. We went ahead and got our drinks and stood in front of the register. He then duct down behind the soda cooler while we a standing there. So my husband asked, if your to busy we can go somewhere else. HE SAID YES! and walked away. They need to change the name to Unlucky Dogs. We were here a little after 12:30 at MSY terminal C if your company needs video.

Gotta try this place! I waited to have my lucky dog before I left NOLA! Lucky Dog has been around since 1948 and I am proud to be one of the 21 million who have been served, more than once, one of these delicious dogs. If you happen to miss one in the city, see the sweet lady at the airport!

How do you ruin a hot dog with a choice of 3 condiments? Yes it’s possible. The bun was so soggy, it was fused to the paper and foil. I guess hotdog university needs to offer classes on bun warmers and hotdogs drying

I love getting my lucky dog when I come to the airport. The service is very good at this time. They put very little chilly on my lucky dog. Know me I get a good helping of it, but I didn’t look when she had it all wrapped up so it was my fault. But if you want the hot tub you get in the French quarter that’s where you get it when you leave out of town.

It’s a hot dog. Quick and easy, but nothing special. Good for when people camping out at the Chili’s tables.
