Riley @as our Fast , Friendly and incredibly welcoming and warm to Our Party of 6. She is Awesome and should Get a bonus. We enjoyed Our Rubens and fries .Best $100 spent. We tipped her $20.00 because she was so informative and Never let Any of Our glasses Go empty. This Bar is Like” Cheers” the old TV show. The Bartender was extremely kind and the patrons at the Bar were all very Kind and welcoming. Went to this bar during happy hour and had a great time. The bartender was a breath of fresh air after some of the others we had encountered in the area that day- she was very welcoming, warm, and attentive to everyone that entered. She recommended some very tasty food (first time having cream cheese on pizza!) and was super friendly. The Reuben Rolls were also delicious. Would definitely recommend!

They hosted our wedding afterparty, and it could not have gone better. Upstairs private area, mixed with the great bar lay out on the main floor, allowed for a semi-private feel while still in-the-mix. Staff was friendly, planning was easy, and they pour Guinness the right way. Encourage anyone to pop in for a beer, or reach out about hosting events there. Thanks!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. same with RWB, they have the most uneducated bouncers I’ve ever encountered and IT WAS MY FIRST TIME. They denied me and said I was “banned” all because they’re not smart enough to read an ARIZONA ID. They let everyone in my group besides me all because I am out of state. Do not come here. they let underage people in all the time and definitely had a power trip when I tried to challenge them. GET NEW STAFF. Do Not Come Here!!

As my party of 3 bar hopped the bars on Water street we came across Lucky Clover Irish Bar. There was no one but the staff inside. We said let’s go inside and check them out. We were happy we did. The staff was Friendly and ACTUALLY KNEW HOW TO MAKE COCKTAILS! Unlike the other 4 bars we had been to on Water street. My twin and I were celebrating our 55th birthday with our Sister in law and we Enjoyed our time at Lucky Clover. I definitely Recommend Lucky Clover for their customer service as well as their ability to make a REAL cocktail. It was the perfect place to end our bar hopping excursion. Thank you Lucky Clover Staff for a great experience!

This place is prejudice and racist. The bouncers wouldn’t let me in with knit black Nike shorts and a red polo shirt for the Fourth of July. Meanwhile other patrons had on the same gear or even less with tank tops, basketball shorts, and jerseys. I told the bouncers I knew people in the establishment that I was supposed to meet with and I will let them know I won’t be able to get in the bar, please let me tell them and the bouncers had the nerve to tell me “text them”. The joke was on the bouncers, I had my friends tell management about the issue and they were able to let me in due to the connection.
The bouncer service was rude, racist, and prejudice. You want to know why people don’t want to come downtown to Milwaukee this is the reason why. I kept telling them this is Milwaukee why do you have a problem with what I’m wearing? I’m going to spend money in an establishment that’s essentially a dive bar downtown with barely any customers outside of the people I’m meeting with. In the future please don’t scoff at potential customers and disrespect potential customers. Meanwhile the two bouncers had on the same color shirt and fabric shorts I had on while flirting with women at the door.
How is Lucky Clover going to enforce a dress code policy when their bouncers have on chains? Next time explain why you can’t let someone in the establishment instead of being rude and condescending. You don’t know who someone is, who they are meeting with, and how much they will spend. Please learn customer service 101!

Was in downtown Milwaukee last night with several friends and family from work and had an absolute blast at the Lucky Clover. The atmosphere was amazing, lots going on downtown, the patrons at the Lucky Clover were all very professional and just good people out having fun. Summer (the bartender) was AMAZING! She was always on it when we needed anything. She kept track of everything and made us feel comfortable and happy the whole night. Sarah the bar manager was a very good communicator and was doing an excellent job running the bar. My wife and I ordered the American Nachos which were delicious. I ordered the club sandwich and was very impressed by how well it was put together and tasted delicious as well. We will definitely be going back soon.

A bar staff of five should be able to take care of 9 tables and the bar without spending so much time on their phones and ignoring everyone. Food was mediocre and incorrect. The waitress did at least acknowledge that they got the order wrong. Seems like they only cater to the late night drunk crowd which is fine.

This was the least busy restaurant on the strip, so we should have taken that as a sign. Service was so slow, especially the food. The server avoided eye contact at all costs. We ordered hummus, an appetizer in which nothing needed to be cooked, and it took about 25 minutes. The draught Busch was so bad it was almost undrinkable. Would not recommend!
