Our son met us there for my wife’s birthday yesterday. We had previously ordered take out and were impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. The food was great, again. I would say elevated over most Chinese food we have tried in town. The ingredients were fresh. Even the fortune cookie, which I usually never eat, was elevated with a nice vanilla aftertaste. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The plating was elegant. My son was impressed, and he has eaten at many fine restaurants in New York and around the world.

Long story short, beware of contamination for those with food allergies!
We came in for the first time today. The woman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful when I asked about an option for tofu and veggies that didn’t contain shellfish or meat. I explained that I have severe food allergies and it would be dangerous for me to consume them so I needed to be sure before ordering. I don’t eat out often for this reason, but was hopeful because of how helpful the woman was.
She went back and talked with the chef, I could hear most of the conversation and she confirmed that the dish I wanted did have shellfish, but that the chef was willing and able to make me something special that didn’t contain any allergens for me. Great! We ordered and waited to get our to-go order.
When the food was ready I thanked them multiple times for being so helpful and we left, excited to get to try a new restaurant. After arriving home (we’re 25 minutes out of town) I open my food and found huge chunks of white meat chicken dispersed throughout the whole dish. Ugh! I’m glad I saw the meat before trying it as I could have had a serious medical event. I called the restaurant to let them know. The waitress who helped me was horrified and I could hear her confronting the chef about it. They offered to give me a free meal, which was kind, but I declined. I don’t feel safe to return after having very clear communication willfully ignored by the chef. I asked if they would just pay the meal forward to another patron. So, just fyi if you have food allergies this probably isn’t a safe place up patronize.

Restaurant is seat yourself. Service was friendly and helpful when discussing menu items. Food was just alright, not amazing but not bad by any means either. The egg flour soup though was really good with a thicker consistency and good spicing and flavor

Gross! Disclosure, I am a chef but I appreciate down to earth Americanized Chinese food. Although I look for authentic when I can get it. But I could definitely make 10 times better food than this without trying. Unfortunately I was on a medical overnight stay to make my commute to the hospital easier. I was looking to just have a nice treat in my room before I cozied up and watched some TV. Disappointing to say the least. Also very expensive for the portions. I also found the owner’s response. Very annoying. Yes, I am well versed in Cantonese Mandarin Szechuan Korean Vietnamese cuisines. I was trained by Hong Kong chefs and have over 16 years of schooling and 40 years in restaurant service, owned three restaurants and am still executive chef and food and beverage manager of a golf and country club. So yes, I have enough education to tell you that your food is trash. And instead of just apologizing, you chose to weirdly defend your mediocre to poor skills while making excuses forgiving less than adequate size value. For your price. I get it. The restaurant business is hard. Maybe you just had an off night but don’t put it on me. Probably not a great idea to fight over social media.

Our first time dining here and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. We had House Special Egg Foo Yung and Honey Walnut Prawns and there was enough left for lunch the next day!

This has been our go-to for Chinese food. The staff are super friendly and you get lots of food for a cheap price when you order the family dinners. I recommend getting the walnut shrimp, and the crab wonton and egg rolls.

Our favorite Chinese food ever! Everything is always amazing here. The problem is deciding what you’re in the mood for. 😉 The General Tso’s is my personal favorite.

Really good Chineese food. Had the #3 family dinner for 2 and was very impressed with the flavor and quality of ingredients. Will definitely come back best Chineese I have had in Anacortes.

It’s certainly not the best Chinese food, perhaps not even in Anacortes–I can’t be sure–but I would be lying to say I don’t have a soft spot for these types of places. Nothing is ever quite as it seems, which is part of the charm, and if you don’t see that as a charm then why did you go to a place called Lucky Chopsticks anyways? Everything was a little over salted (perhaps adjusted for local taste who knows), but the staff were just wonderful and gave us a list of all the things to do around the area. 3.5 stars for the food plus an extra 0.5 for the staff.
