Lucky Chopsticks is a local, hole-in-the-wall gem I recently added to my regular grub spots. The food is prepared fresh, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are affordable. They are also open late ’til 2 am (Thurs to Sat) for all you night owls.
Their menu offers many classic Chinese dishes, appetizers, and set meals, depending on party size (family, individual, or couple). There are excellent value combos for the quality and portions.
My recent visits have been for the lunch combo sets. My go-to is Set A, which includes rice or fried rice. For a couple of bucks more, you can upgrade to include soup, an egg roll, and a canned drink or water. I enjoyed the orange beef and kung pao chicken set lunches. Both were made to order. I also enjoyed the sweet-and-sour soup, while the egg flower soup was okay. I’m looking forward to trying more items here, such as Mongolian beef, shaken beef noodles, and wor wonton soup.
The dining area has a few tables with a relaxed vibe. They also offer takeout, delivery, and party trays. You can order through the website and by phone. They accept CC, cash, and Apple Pay.

I took my parents here for the first time and we loved it! We’ve struggled to find a good local Chinese spot that was fresh and affordable. Your food is made to order and the flavor is amazing. I tried the orange chicken fries and they did not disappoint! The chicken was the crispy as well as the fries! The service is attentive and very hospitable! Overall a great experience. :). I will say the place is a little small but that wasn’t a big deal. If you plan on coming with more than 3 people I would recommend asking if there is room for your party as there is only one big table in the entire place.

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was insanely delicious, this was my second time coming here (in one day!). I tried the Orange Chicken Fries at lunch and it was such a delicious combo! I tried it again with my sister, and we had the Mongolian Beef Plate and a Vegetable Chow Mein Plate. This is truly authentic Chinese food!

Tried Lucky Chopsticks in Cypress and honestly everything was so good. They were running a red envelope promo — spend $65 and you get a red envelope with a chance to win a gift card, which was a fun surprise.
We ordered the cream cheese fried wontons (super crispy), their famous orange chicken fries (so good and definitely worth the hype), and the Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles. Everything came out hot and full of flavor, and it felt way less greasy than a lot of other Chinese food spots, which I really appreciated.
Portions were solid, prices felt fair, and the food just hit the spot without feeling heavy. If you’re in the area and craving Chinese food, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’d come back again for sure.

After a long day at Knott’s Berry Farm, we were looking for a late-night spot and were so glad this place was just a few minutes away! I always love supporting local favorite restaurants instead of big chains because I truly believe local spots serve better, more authentic food, and YES this place proved me right.
We ordered the Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles and it was SO good. The noodles were perfectly cooked, coated in a rich savory sauce without being greasy. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the fresh onions and bell peppers added the perfect crunch. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.

My parents brought this food home, they were excited to give it a try. They had to wait 40 minutes before the workers realized they hadn’t even started their order yet. They did provide them with free cream cheese rangoons, as an apology. Howevsr, the food overall was sad. There is just an odd flavor to them(or rather lack of flavor) and it was not worth the price. I thought my parents had ordered a onion dish, but it was the teriyaki chicken supposedly. My photos are after my family served themselves, but there was barely any cjicken in it to start with. It was easier to just serve the amount of onions we would want then portion out the chicken. Very disappointing food. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but it just dreadful.

I love the chow mein here, the noodles r perfectly cooked, not soggy nor too hard, and the taste itself is super good. I am particularly picky about my string beans but oh lord were these beans so delicious<33333. I personally 100% recommend them if you come here. The drinks are a bit on the sweeter side but not like SUPER overly sweet. It perfectly balance out the meal in my personal opinion. The workers were also very kind and welcoming:)

I was genuinely impressed with this restaurant today. The food was really good, fresh, flavorful, and honestly better than many places charging twice the price. The service was just as impressive. Even in a time when everything has gotten so expensive, they’re offering prices that are surprisingly affordable without cutting corners. You still get full 5-star service: attentive staff, fast service, and a warm atmosphere.
It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food and great service at such a good price these days. Highly recommended!
