By far the best Chinese takeaway in town!
I’ve tried a few places, but nothing even comes close to this gem. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm and friendly.
I also saw a little girl do her homework in the corner, that’s how you know it’s good ☺️

The youngsters working in there seriously need some lessons in manners, there’s nothing more off putting than a teen with a bad attitude, they really do let the place down!

This is my go to place for Beef Chow Mein, best I’ve ever had in any Chinese in Carlisle. It’s not got a watery sauce like others I’ve tried. Sweet and sour is nice and I like the special fried rice too. Staff always pleasant when I’ve been in.

We both really enjoyed it the first time but the second time I tried something different (chilli honey chicken) and it was rubbery, tasted horrible and I couldn’t eat it and neither could my partner. But the salt & pepper chips are beautiful and we like the sweet and sour chicken balls.

I work all over the country and very rarely find take-away Chinese food this good. Had Yung chow fried rice with curry one night and Shrimp Foo Yung with chips another. Both perfect Highly recommend this place.

Best Chinese in Carlisle! Never a thing wrong with it. Why they don’t deliver I don’t know, they’d make a fortune! Only issue I have is that they stopped doing pineapple fritters so now I have to go elsewhere for that which is a nuisance cos all other Chinese I’ve tried do not compare to lucky and I don’t enjoy it as much. I’ve thrown more out than I’ve eaten. You really can’t go far wrong with lucky, nice food!! Love their chow mein and chicken curry!

Still consistently two stars, as per my last review two years ago. The food is edible, that’s about it. So it’ll do, on the nights when the other Chinese takeaways are closed!
The chicken is always really rubbery, the portion sizes aren’t that big and the sweet and sour dishes seem to lack ingredients. Added to which they want to charge for a bag to carry your food out in – none of the other takeaways do this. I’m not sure of the intricacies of the stupid plastic bag laws, however surely paper bags could be used and included within the cost? It’s a struggle carrying out the food without a bag and a real kick in the balls to be charged punitive amounts on bags when buying a takeaway!

Service was good and fast. Chicken in the black bean sauce wasn’t great, its like its processed. Chicken fried rice was good and the curry sauce was really tasty, chips were good too.
