Counter style takeout with also a dinning area if you like to sit down and be served. For the take out line they have options for 1 meal, 2 meal, 3 meal or more which includes you choice of about 8 or so food items and rice or noodles. They were very busy on Saturday night at around 6pm. The line went quickly and the staff were very friendly and we’re working hard. The food was hot and fresh. It was about $13 for 2 meals and rice/noodles or about $17 for 3 meals and rice/noodles. I would suggest giving it a try and for the price it was worth it especially for a family.

This place wears dual hats.. sit down restaurant and grab and go like Panda Express. Food is good, ordered the salt and pepper wings and they came out in less than 10mins. Tasty, crunchy, fully cooked and still juicy. Definitely a new spot to get good food.

Food is good staff is friendly. Went in last night and got two plates. I asked for one with all noodles and one with all rice. I saw her starting to serve the noodles so I went to wait by the cash register. I get home and both plates have all rice. The boxes even have the correct items written on there.

I’ve been coming here for years and usually everything is amazing but I went today and they have some new servers up at the front I asked for black pepper beef and bbq chicken I got bbq chicken but the black pepper beef only had mushroom in it, I guess you have to watch them very closely now or they’ll just give you whatever.however the quality of the food is very good and I’ll go again I’ll just avoid that particular server.

We always grab take out. This spot is legit! The food portion size is hearty in a good way. It’s affordable and the food is tasty and flavorful. The Salt & Pepper chicken wings is pretty good and worth trying. Also the fact that they have BBQ pork is unreal in East County- that’s authentic!
Our fav from the menu:
Sesame Chicken
Crispy Beef
Hot & Sour Soup

I came here for lunch break. The food was fresh. I love a good American Chinese food spot. The chow mein and rice were on point. The orange chicken had white meat in it. The teriyaki was fresh. The jalapeno chicken was really good with extra jalapenos. The vegetable egg rolls were okay. The service was really great and fast.

Overall very disappointing. Food very pricey. No lunch specials. Soup is not included with the meal. Ordered a cup of the hot and sour soup and it was very bland and my spicy dish was way too hot. They did not ask how hot I wanted it and assumed it would be on the milder side. Wrong! Food meh at best, over-priced. Will not be back.

Beware.. if the restaurant is dirty.. imagine what the kitchen looks like… terrible food and service. Lady at counter for Togo food made an order wrong and when I mentioned it she argued back that’s not what I said… super rude but I also know what I ordered and said. As we’re walking to sit down my shoes are sticking to the floor… the floor is even dirty. Sat down and ordered extra food since ours had to be remade. Spring rolls are just fried cabbage that were on a heating lamp because she just turned around and came out the kitchen in an instant. The noodles were pretty instant too! If you like cheap quality food and dirty places this is it for you! Me, never going back, would never recommend

Got bait and switched by the orange chicken. Saw a picture of the orange chicken and it looked delicious in the picture, actually eating the chicken was a different story. There was far more breading/batter than there was chicken – and the little chicken there was was fatty, heavily battered, chewy, and bits of cartilage in it. I had fried rice with it which was also not so great and was extremely dry. My family member ordered teriyaki chicken and there was no teriyaki on it and he also found it chewy. I’m not one to leave bad reviews usually but the price in my opinion exceeded the quality and I feel like I just wasted $50.

Rather than going to the alternative fast-food chinese chain, Lucky Chinese Food has showcased quality and excellence in the food that they serve up.
With both take-out and dine-in options, you won’t be disappointed.
