Photos is of the food (honey chicken and fried rice) I thought was decent after the first round of food on my plate, General Taos chicken and string beans were cold, it struck me suddenly cause I was not expecting the food to be cold. I did not finish that first round. My first beverage was suppose to be orange crush soda, it was seltzer water mostly. My mother had orange crush too and she asked for hr broccoli to be cooked more and they did it without issue and she complained about our beverages and they change the beverages over. We arrived around 130pm, so perhaps they were hit during lunch rush.

Typical Chinese buffet, not bad. Good variety of food, dishes were the right temperature, nothing looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Interestingly, it self service soft drink machine which I prefer. No one bothered us while we were there, staff was polite, grabbed empty plates, and were not pushy to get us out.

7/6/24 So this is a self serve buffet. You get your own drink your own silver ware. Their is a large selection of food to choose from. Everything I had was good and hot and very tasty. My wife is very hard to please at buffet, but she even liked everything she ate.

My fiance and I went here a couple days ago looking forward to trying something new instead of a traditional restaurant. The food was so good, it wasn’t too packed, it was quiet, and we had a nice dinner! However, we both ended up sick with strep throat.

I had not been to Lucky’s Buffet since I moved out of the area a few years ago so I stopped in to get carry out while in the area week of 2/5/26. I WILL NOT BE STOPPING ANYMORE to get food. What I usually buy at Habachi Grill on Kirkwood Hway cost TWICE as much at Lucky’s. The food was not good and poorly seasoned. As I was making my two carry out trays, one staff kept watching me as she was putting food in different trays .She approached where I was getting food 3 times, therefore I stood back and waited for her to finish as she kept glancing at me. I put the two trays on scale, it was $43. I buy the same and much tastier foods at Habachi Grill for $25-$28. I WILL NEVER GO LUCKY’S BUFFET AGAIN!

I’ve been to many buffets in my time and I have to say, never again! The food was not good at all. You can tell the food had been out too long. Even the 10 year old that accompanied this dining experience would not eat the food…

Price on site not current and receipts posted not current. When said something to cashier she said $16 has been the price for 10yr. I know that not right cause we were here within past 2 years. Food good. Lots of choices, most staff doesn’t understand English.

The food was excellent. I had mostly seafood. The fried fish was crunchy outside and meaty inside

This establishment had gone through a couple of ownership in the past. It is located conveniently off Route 1 Highway and Route 40 exit, at the end of the Governor’s Square plaza. Plenty of room and tables on the inside, with a large party room.
Most of the entrees served are American Chinese. So if you’re looking for authentic provincial Chinese cuisine, this is not the place. However, it does have a hibachi grill that offers most of the meat choices and stir ins. The BBQ ribs and wings are surprisingly tasty as well. The drinks are self serve, same as silverware and chopsticks. Pricing seems at par with other buffets in the area.
