Owner of 20+ years was very friendly. The establishment itself has been around since 1951. I got the 3/4 lb Burger which is three patties with a delicious Fire-Grilled flavor. The menu is simple but it has more than enough choices and options. Will try one of their milkshakes next time. Hands down tastier than In-N-Out and it’s a local business owner. I recommend it!

This was an amazing local food restaurant in the heart Phoenix. The restaurant felt like a blast from the past, with its classic charm. We decided to eat inside and had their 1/4 pound burger and cheese fries. It was good. Additionally, the views of the mountains outside their window was nice see while enjoying our meal. Whenever I’m back in town, their restaurant will remain on my list to revisit.

Options provided are classic. Guy taking my order was friendly & frank, good combination. The coke on tap has that perfect crispness you get from like an 80s bowling alley soda. The burger was supremely made, I got a combination of thousand island & pepper jack. Fries were a good sized portion also. Price can’t be beat.

The older gentleman working the drive-through could definitely be more personable and approachable. Ordered a burger for my son with no Lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickle, and he said “well what do you want on it then?” Burger smelled so good but my son said it tasted off and was made incorrectly and there was a dark little hair in his fries. He said the shake was good but after finding the hair in the fries was afraid to eat anything else.

I only give four stars for atmosphere because they don’t have a restroom. It’s hard to sit down and eat and drink for about an hour without going to the restroom. Especially if you have children. The burgers are always so fresh and tasty and they taste like burgers off the grill ,delicious! The fries are always so hot and they have the perfect thickness. Another Plus you don’t have to beg them to catch up they’ll just give you a bunch of it without even having to ask. ☺️

Great onion rings!!!! The chicken sandwich I ordered was good too but those onion rings!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had! When I saw they had butterscotch milk shakes I couldn’t order fast enough. Unfortunately, the shake was a bit of a let down. It tasted like a vanilla shake not butterscotch. If we hadn’t gone through the drive thru I would have asked for some more flavoring.

ving us one only. If you like onion rings you’re going to love these. They were not overly fried either.. huge plus for me!

First timer here. This is a great burger, menu is easy you pick what you want on it. Patties are different sizes (you pick portion) and have great flavor. Shakes are delicious and they also have a good assortment of ingredients. Food came out fast and everyone was friendly while being very fairly priced. Only thing I didnt like was that the dinning room was so small making it difficult for big families.

Family owned burger joint where not only is the food DELICIOUS, but they treat you like family, which makes this place even better!! Charbroiled old school burgers with crispy fries, the shakes are HEAVEN, but you gotta try the fried zucchini and fried mushrooms, WOW!! A must, the chili cheese fries, whew!!

There are way more styles of burgers around these days than I would have ever considered possible when I was a kid growing up in AZ. This is a very classic tasting burger. Slight char on the patty, could taste the grill. Made me feel nostalgic. That said, it didn’t knock my socks off. I wanted the patty to be a little juicier. It felt medium-well to me, and I would have preferred medium. I appreciated that the burger came with fries. I was initially disappointed because I’m not a huge steak cut french fry fan. They normally lack crisp/crunch and end up being fried mushy potato in the middle. These fries were the best steak fries I’ve ever had. Exterior had the perfect crispy texture and they were salted to perfection. I didn’t even dip them in any form of sauce. Well done. I was not unhappy with my meal. Solid 4 stars. If I was in the area and craving a burger, I’d go again.
