Service was slow. Sushi was good but nothing extraordinary. What I do absolutely recommend is the Truffle manage a troi… That sushi rice was delectable… Great texture and well… You can’t go wrong with truffle

I ordered the the seared Tuna (One of the most expensive item on the menu too) and it comes with fried rice. I was attracted to this restaurant because I am Asian and I really like the design of their logo. Being Asian I know that a traditional fried rice is very oily because that’s what gives it the “Wok Hay”. But this fusion place took it to another level. They put so much oil in it, I thought this is Chinese – Italian fusion but unfortunately I only like my olive oil with bread not rice. I ask the waitress and she confirmed this is normal. After reviewing all the pictures from Google, I think to myself I must be Lucky A.F. to order the worst dish on the menu (no pun intended). The only Asian I see in my dish is the “Yellow River” between the rice. If you like oil, this is the place! Good luck 🙂

So, we decided to check out lucky af. It is in a great location with breweries and arcades close by, so there is lots to do. The pot stickers were good. Had a nice crispness and good flavor. The sauce was tangy and sweet, delicious. The sushi was great, hands down the best Philly roll we have ever had. The smokiness was amazing! The sauce on the plate is great, but beware it is spicy! The seasame chicken was AMAZING, crispy, sweet all white meat, five stars hands down. The salad was good. But the miso soup has this rich, deep, soulful flavor, so much depth that it was great! We will be back for more. The only downside is that it is noisy, so I’m not sure I would recommend it for a first date, but we had a great time!

They truly do not know what they have here. It’s the best sushi I’ve had in the continental U.S. The names of the rolls were a bit gimmicky and made me wonder, but the second I tasted anything I was absolutely sold. 100% recommend. The fish is so fresh and tender and everything is the exact combination to fit well together. I could not put into words how good it tastes, just go have it for yourself. Trust me.

I. Am. Obsessed! I’m mad it took me so long to try this place. We moved here from California and have lived in Japan so we have a bar set on sushi quality. The first 4 sushi spots I tried in Virginia were not it for us. They were not fresh, had poor options or glorified their location based on gimmick. I don’t want “all you can eat”. I want delicious quality.

We went during lunch time and the menu was limited. All the food we ordered was delicious. We tried the spicy tuna roll, lobster dumplings, Pho beef spring rolls, edamame, and Galaga rolls.

Atmosphere, Aesthetic, & Customer Service was great. Food was MID AF. My boyfriend & I ordered the Pho & Bento Box, maybe it was just our food choices but it wasn’t that good at all. Pho was bland and the rice and Teriyaki Chicken in the Bento box lacked seasoning and flavor.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were very pleased. We both got drinks and a lunch combo and it was all delicious. The place was super clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had a great time here. Food was excellent. Beer selection was good too. Had no problem getting seated. Definitely a great spot for work lunches or a weekend dinner.

Sat at the bar and had excellent service even though the bartender was short-handed, but the food left a bit to be desired. My wife is pregnant so we did not have sushi, but my sesame chicken was not hot when it showed up and both meals were only mediocre.
