We were initially going to stop at Jersey Mikes next door but changed out minds and went in to try it for the first time.
Small place but lots of flavorful scents.
Placed was a bit dark inside but it was ok with us. Only 2 people working so we were ask to wait a min. They have a variety of options to choose from.
We tried the kung Pao chicken, orange chicken and meat and veggies. Their foundation drinks weren’t working but they had bottled instead.
When the food came out it was hot and fresh. The lady was nice and gave us condiments while taking orders over the phone, helped prepped and attending to the register.
It was a delicious meal.
Lot of food on the plate and overall hot.
We will come back for more.

This isn’t your typical Chinese takeout. They do not have whole chicken wings, spare ribs etc. They only give you one sauce packet. Even after requesting more sauce I received 1. For $42 for two shrimp fried rice with wings, they could’ve been a little more gracious. I will not be returning.

I’ve been going to this place for over a decade and it used to be one of my favorites. I haven’t been in in several months, but this evening I went to pick up a to-go order and almost turned and walked out because of the dirty filthy conditions. Where you’re standing at the counter, take a look at the calculator and all the layers of crap and grease and dirt on it. The keys are black! Then take a look at the POS system and especially the touch screen and it doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in months. The lady that takes your order and uses the calculator and the POS will then go to the kitchen and package your order for you.
The food was good but nothing close to what it used to be. With all the many choices for Chinese food within few miles. I don’t think I’ll be returning….. which is sad.

Honestly was very surprised at how much I enjoyed what I got from here last night (Hunan with Veggies ) as well as the spring rolls with an amazing sauce. We’ve seen this place a ton and never stopped in until now, I can definitely say that I’ll be back. My brother and wife also loved their meals as well (broccoli beef ). Thanks guys, see you soon!

Lucky 99 has been around for a long time for good reason. You can get amazing food in large portions at a good price. I like the classic orange chicken, but for something different the Singapore noodles are excellent.
I was surprised to see so many bad reviews as my family have had nothing but good experiences. They’re open on major holidays (yes even Christmas/New Years Day) and we order from them always around then. Support long standing small businesses.

Favorite Chinese food in frisco for take out! Always good! We have been ordering from them for years! Veggie soup is amazing! Steamed dumplings so good! My husband loves the orange chicken, says it reminds him from the Chinese places when he was a kid!! So good!

I have no idea what these bad complaints are talking about. This place has been open for years, and it is a favorite for locals. The food has always been consistent with flavor, temperature, consistency, and speed. Over the years I have tried almost every entree item and they are always heaping servings that could feed 2 people on their own for close to $10 total. They are extremely underrated. Customer service is very welcoming too, Sonia is like the asian auntie you never had.
