Although the har gow and fried chive dumplings had thick dough, they were well-seasoned. Overall, a good spot for dim sum to go.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won’t be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.
I like their steamed dim sum like shrimp dumplings and shu mai. Beef tripes are good too.
Haven’t tried their baked items but they seem popular too.
Updated 2019-04-01: Came at 5:40pm on a Monday. Few people in restaurant. Several staff working but it turned out the management was rather chaotic. One person waited for over thirty minutes to get his order although the restaurant was totally not busy at all. My party got the order delivered reasonably fast but there was a mistake. We ordered wonton rice sticks. The staff echoed the correct order more than once amongst themselves but at the end the delivered noodle instead of rice sticks. They verified against their record and found that the kitchen made the mistake. With fewer than 4 tables of about 8 customers, such a mistake shows some systematic problems in the kitchen. One of our dishes has tofu and eggplant. The dish was extremely greasy. The eggplant essentially bathed in oil and absorbed a lot of greasy oil. The tofu is rotten with a sour taste
