The food is good and is my go to. The sopa is what I normally get. But for dine in the service can be pretty slow when it’s even slightly busy. I used to be a waiter so things like this really stands out for me.

Let me just say I was absolutely blown away by this place! I had no idea this gem of a restaurant was tucked away in that shopping center. The interior is absolutely stunning! But the food was mind blowing in terms of deliciousness. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Venezuelan food, but I am now a big fan and will be coming back often. We tried several things, but my favorite was the Cachapa with beef, Arepas and the cheese stick like things with mango sauce inside (I don’t know the name of them). You must try this spot!

I was blown away by their beef soup. It’s hands down the best beef soup I’ve tried in Dallas! The rich, flavorful broth and tender beef pieces were absolutely perfect. The authentic Venezuelan spices made each spoonful a delightful experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Venezuela!

Love this place, first time. Such a large menu with so much to try, we loved all of it. Fresh juiced guava (didn’t taste any added sugar). The chacapa mix (fried pork and beef) with the red and green sauce amazing. Arepa, empanda, and pastries great.
I will say cheese is king here.
Tres Leche cake very rich ( not much cinnamon) so if you don’t love the Mexican tres Leche this will be amazing as it allows the cream flavor thru more.
Will return. I wish they had pulled/shredded pork is my only pick. (Mainly because the first chacapa I ever had was with pulled pork.

Great place for Venezuelan street food, just like my hometown of Maracaibo. The pastelitos are excellent, the tequeños have the same cheese as in Venezuela, cool 6 stool bar for a quick bite. They also have several 4 tops for if you don’t come alone.
Great service, chill atmosphere.
Took a bunch of frozen stuff, empanadas mechadas, tequeños and pastelitos
Easily gonna gain 5 pounds, but worth it

My husband is from Venezuela and we decided to try this place after church. I have to say the food was good especially the size of the food. We had cachapa and a few other things. The hospitality was friendly and friendly. I would definitely come back again. I just wish it wasn’t too far for us.

The food was amazing. I am Mexican so I’ve never had Venezuelan food and I loved everything I ordered. From what I understand the food I ordered is considered fast food in Venezuela so everything I got was friend. Everything I got was super yummy specially the cheese inside. I will definitely return again.

This is the best Venezuelan food restaurant I’ve tried in DFW. Lots of menu options and all tastes great. Since this was my first time here, my wife and I got a sample plate. Lots of good food and took home leftovers.

I usually only do in depth reviews of places that are outstanding or horrible enough I feel I should warn others about. This place fortunately falls within the outstanding category. I’m familiar with South American food, specifically Peruvian and Columbian having worked in both places. I LOVE South American food mainly because while working there it was ALWAYS made fresh and most places took pride in their work/flavor. There are many meals in Venezuela that are similar; case in point, Empanadas.. While working in Peru i had a handful of places that made outstanding Empanadas. Since coming back to the states, I’ve tried my best to find good Empanadas to no avail. Today, while on the way back from DFW Airport, were passed this place, i checked the reviews and we decided to give it a try. My daughter who’s a flight attendant flies all over and likes to try new foods so she was on board.
While this place is in an semi abandoned shopping center it was VERY clean inside. Most of the patrons and employees were speaking Spanish. Fortunately there were enough English speakers for most non-Spanish speakers. Fortunately i spoke Spanish so that always helps.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful explaining what foods were what and what each contained. Of course i had to get empanadas (one beef and one chicken). We also got a couple of mini arepa’s (also got one beef and one chicken). We got the arepas because we’d never tried them. They were outstanding and we’ll definitely be getting lots when we return.
The big test for me of course were the empanadas. My daughter and i both had the same reaction when we’re took the first bite… Mmmmm!! I couldn’t believe it. I FINALLY found empanadas as good and in some respects better that i had in south America. They were that good! Both the chicken and the beef inside the empanadas were nicely seasoned with great flavor. The empanadas themselves were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with the perfect amount of meat inside. Prior to this place i had only found one empanada place in Texas that was passable in San Antonio and I’d rate their empanadas a 8/10; a little too greasy but otherwise very good. They were from a Venezuelan couple in a food truck. This place (Luci’s) blew them away and taste a solid 10/10. This place is a gem in the DFW area. EVERYONE should give these guys a try and experience some outstanding Venezuelan food. I can’t recommend this place enough.. do yourself a favor and give them a try..
