This is the best restaurant in our small town so it is our go to place for our anniversary. This year we celebrated 13 years of marriage at Lucio’s & were not disappointed. My hubby ordered the spaghetti with sausage & peppers & I ordered the Veal Parmesan with Spaghetti. They had a special appetizer of meatballs which were just as phenomenal as our meals were.
Get there as they open because spots fill up quickly. Anthony & Gregory are great servers & their tiramisu is mouth watering. Basically we’ll be back again & again!

We have gone to Lucios for a number of years and the last couple of times we’ve been there. I have been somewhat disappointed. They have a wonderful selection of salad dressing. Probably the best that I have ever had and their salad is always good. I was disappointed that the veal was tough and that the linguine I had was kind of cold and stuck together. The service and the atmosphere is very nice and their desserts are very good. I just wished that the things that we liked the most wasnt a little off for what we’ve been used to in past years.

Lucios is a great family restaurant. There are no reservations so get there early — as soon as the restaurant opens. The wait staff is great, friendly and informative about the dishes. A large salad is shared, delicious dressings. The entrees are huge so be prepared to share or take home a lot of food. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana which was delicious, the red sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted.
I had the mussels with red sauce and pasta. Very good, very plentiful. Wine pours are very generous. Though some might disagree with me I enjoyed the atmosphere of lots of people, a little loud, and everyone enjoying their meals.

This is the worst “Italian food “ (If you can even call it that )I’ve ever had it used to be good a long time ago. This is the second time I’ve been there that the food was disgusting My pasta was brought out without my mozzarella on top and when the mozzarella arrived, it was covered in tomato sauce and not melted. My spaghetti looked as if you poured a jar of sauce on top
no one ate the rolls were cold terrible experience I will never go there again.
Not authentic Italian food anymore

We were in town in vacation and dined with Lucio’s – the food was at best average. I have never had chicken parmigiana with the chick just grilled or I am not sure what was done to it.

(Roach Infestation)
Server has no clue what veal medallions and veal cutlets are and he’s been working there for several years. Looked at us like we had three heads when we asked. The fried calamari was nothing but a bunch of fried breading. Chicken cutlet was not a breaded chicken cutlet. It was more like a boneless chicken thigh boiled and covered in mozzarella cheese. The sauce taste was off as well.
The icing on the cake was that the place was infested with German cockroaches. The kids were sitting along the back booth and there were tons of cockroaches crawling all up on the wall. We called the owner over and she nonchalantly said oh yeah they just sprayed today and blew us off like this is normal. No apology, no compensating us with a dessert with a drink, nothing. That is so unprofessional.
They were closed for the past four days and she has the exterminators coming on the day that they open to spray? Never again! Our meals were ruined. Where are the inspectors in the town of Franklin? They’ve completely lost our business. Place is way too old run down and infested.

Lucio’s is a Franklin institution, and it never disappoints. My husband and I have been going there for over 30 years, seeing this restaurant through a location change and even a change of generations, but it remains consistently good. Every meal gets pre-served a salad bowl with choices of homemade dressings and garlic rolls swimming in sumptuous garlic butter for dipping. The servers are well trained, which makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Is not glamorous or glitzy, but for us, it’s our top “date night” choice.

Our friends highly recommended Lucio’s, and now that we have gone, I will recommend to everyone also! Our server, Anthony, was a nice guy with a great sense of humor. We chose the Eggplant Parmesan for an appetizer. It was amazing! The salad is brought out “family style” with 3 homemade dressings to choose from. We tried all 3 dressings and all were delicious! I ordered the Fettuccine Della Casa(chicken and broccoli in a cheesy cream sauce). I will definitely order it again! I took more than 1/2 of it home because the servings are so large. Hubby got the special, beef ravioli, and he said it was excellent. If you like amazing Italian food, this is the place to go!
