The parking lot is usually packed here, so we don’t go to Lucille’s very often. They don’t take reservations and we had a group of 8. We got there around 6:00 on a Friday and sat outside in the patio. There is a fireplace and several outdoor heaters. It’s a little breezy on the patio, but with the heaters and fireplace on we were comfortable. The server was very attentive and kept checking on our group. He brought several baskets of bread. We didn’t order any appetizers or drinks, so we placed our dinner order. Most meals come with sides. I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs. The sides I chose were bbq beans and collard greens. The sides weren’t very hot, but I think that is typical when there is a large group. The baby back ribs were tender and juicy. There were two bottles of bbq sauce on the table. I thought the original bbq sauce was too sweet for me, so I had the Memphis style with my ribs. Someone in the group ordered salmon and said it was fantastic. You can add a salad to your dinner, and the salads looked dry fresh and tasty. The brisket was very good. The catfish and French fries were not as good and we wouldn’t order them again. The fried okra was ok, but again the food wasn’t very hot so that affected the taste. We also tried the shrimp grits. Lucille’s is a good place for large groups to sit together. There were several large groups on the patio celebrating birthdays. They can take reservations in advance, but not the same day. Just be prepared to park far away.

Crowded and busy. Loud noise. Excellent service. Food is OK if you into baby back ribs. They served free home baked biscuits with sweet butter. We ordered the Devils Egg for appetizer & Baby Back Ribs & Bbq Tri-Tip . Mashed potato is very good . Very filling. I do recommend!

Friendly staff, attentive, ordered BBQ chicken salad, Baby Back ribs with side of smashed potatoes and vegetables, and ordered Red Velvet Pudding for dessert. The salad tasted good, ribs were tasty and red velvet pudding on the sweet side.

I haven’t been here in forever.. definitely kept all the good features with just enough updates. The wait staff seemed busy but not overwhelmed. Very prompt and professional. The signature drinks were good. I find most to be a bit on the sweet side, but nope! I had their version on the Spicy Chicken sandwich, full of flavor but could use a bit more kick to live up to the name. Overall 5 stars. A recommendation after doing your mall shopping rounds

Went with three others, while their meals were top notch. I ordered just the Brisket. I was served a plate of 2/3’s Gristle. No restaurant kitchen of this caliber should ever give a customer what is needed during smoking but not suitable for consumption…..if no other need, then use the trash can for this by-product. The other three in the party had the gumbo and the other two ribs & brisket that were expected to be served. The only reason I did not send it back was that I was a guest invited
