Been to Lucille’s twice, and the service is always hospitable (shoutout Greg for being a legend my most recent visit), and the food is a great value. Love getting quality BBQ for a reasonable price! The Southern Fried Chicken was divine, and Lucille’s in-house BBQ sauce can make a shoe taste good. Expansive beer and cocktail menu makes it a perfect weekend meal stop. And don’t forget the biscuits with apple butter!

This place never gets old. The ribs were very fatty. The baked beans weren’t that great. The server was awesome and understands her assignment. Deon was very attentive, friendly, and funny. I will say the table I sat at was right up under the ac vent….not cool. It was already cool outside. Other than that, it was a great visit.

Just speaking from a food delivery standpoint: overpriced and tiny tiny portions. Feeling a bit scammed tbh, wouldn’t imagine the pricing and portion is too much better in person. 60 bucks, and they gave one biscuit and a literal spoonful of Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. I mean, it’s LA bbq but come on.

My brother and I brought my mother here for a Mother’s Day lunch. This was my first time coming and I should’ve just gotten the ribs like they did but hey ‍♂️ the chicken was good as well. They started us off with the Onion Straws then came the meals… I didn’t even taste my biscuit because somehow I dropped it on the floor. The service was top tier, what looked to be a hostess or something to that affect, noticed my brother and I were in a bad spot to watch the game so she accommodated us by seeing us with a better view . I need to come back by myself with about $150.

My family and I dined in Lucille’s for the first time on Saturday 22nd November, 2025. We traveled for 1 hour and 46 mins on 2 buses. My treat for hubby’s birthday was at Lucille’s. When we arrived, the place was packed. One thing I noted thinking back in hindsight is that I didn’t get that Barbecue smell upon entering. We didn’t get seated right away. When we got seated, was next to some teenagers, a party of approximately 15 persons. Close to the kitche. The server we got was Tori. I told her today is my husband’s birthday first time coming here. I asked her what she would recommend, to stay within price, she gave suggestions. We took probably 5 to 6 mins, reviewing the menu. During that time, she served the biscuits. We chose what she suggested 2 sides for $23.99, an additional $1.50 for Briskets, 2 for 2 first $14.99 and on the kids menu chicken tenders. Tori, our server, came back and apologized with her voice and that she had to go home. Also, we would have a new server, Jordan and she introduced him to us. Not a problem. I hope you feel better.

Finally, the food came for hubby was BBQ chicken, Briskets, Mac & cheese and veggies. I got the BBQ chicken salad and the desert cake was to come after and for our son the chicken tenders. (See pic below) We traveled far,as mentioned, and was excited to eat. I stated eating the BBQ chicken salad, something tasted off, tasteless. I tasted another spot same thing. Hubby asked me, ‘how was it?’ I said, ‘you taste it’. My facial expression could not hide my disgust. The chicken was burnt, not grilled, BURNT. Tell me this, how can you mess up a BBQ chicken salad??? I couldn’t eat anymore. My appetite was turned off. Salads are fairly easy to make, I do not know what that was. Hubby mentioned that his Briskets was dry and like cardboard. Our son he was not too fond of the chicken. You are paying money for a meal and it was horrible.
As I was surveying the area, I still saw Tori there.
Jordan finally returned to us and asked how everything was. I said, ‘I cannot eat this. It’s awful.’ He apologized, got another menu and showed me some other salads, mentioned he would give me some time.
I was so turned off. I said, ‘just give me the kids’ meal.’ That was $8.99. I didn’t want the 2 for 2. I only ate 2% of that salad. He told me he would talk to them, to get it off my bill. He went to place the order. Time had passed while waiting, so we agreed, let us just get the kids meal to leave, it took some time for our meals to come, and we had to travel. I saw another young lady, her name is Dionne. She was super helpful, and I mentioned to her just let Jordan know we want the kids’ meal to leave. While speaking to Dionne, we saw him, but he seemed preoccupied with the other table with the teenagers.

Jordan finally came to us, and I reiterated what I would like. He came back with the kids meal and the chocolate cake for my husband. My husband was asked, if he wanted any candles. He said, no. Gave us the chocolate cake and that was it.

I paid the bill so we could leave. After this time, our son still noticed Tori was here. I don’t know why she passed us on to Jordan, probably as she was dealing with a bigger group the teenagers close to us, bigger tip. We don’t know. However, she could have just said, I am giving you guys a new server, don’t go into an explanation that you are going home and your voice.

This whole experience left us very dissatisfied and upset. Only thing that was palatable was the biscuit that tasted good. It was not a good experience for us being here for the first time and for my husband on his birthday. On the way back, as I was extremely hungry as i didn’t bother with the salad. The chicken was tasteless, the breading fell off, the saving grace was the Ranch dressing. The fries was greasy, the reference i can make so much grease you can use it in your hair. Ridiculous. I hope Management will take this feedback Into consideration. I wouldn’t recommend here and definitely doubt we would return.

I was hoping it was just an off night for them, but after reading some reviews, it seems that it was not. Food was OK at best and portions were very small. The worst part was that the service was absolutely terrible.
Our server was overmatched and decided to use rudeness to cover it up. We were a large group which I know could be challenging, however, telling us we need to be patient because you have two other tables was rude and inconsiderate as I watched you service and take the orders of another table right next to us who was sat 10 minutes after we were before you took our order. In a group of 12, eight orders were wrong. No one attempted to correct him because no one wanted to hear rude excuses. Again, I was hoping it was just an off day however this seemed like his normal attitude. I hope things get better but for now, Lucille’s is off my list.

The only reason I’m giving this establishment 4 stars is because of the wait time. We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer, and the entrees themselves arrived almost an hour after we ordered our food. Luckily we already anticipated the wait. But nevertheless, it was a long wait. But I have to admit, everything we ordered was delicious. It’s not the best BBQ I’ve ever had, but it was very good. Definitely my top 5. Our server was good, but seemed she didn’t want to be there, took a while to get refill on drinks. But I also understand the place was packed. I recommend the place, plenty of parking, overall staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is good, prices can be steep. But overall good place for the family. Just be prepared to wait, and spend some good money.

Went there for dinner with a friend today. I had to wait for him for 10 minutes and I couldn’t help myself cause the smell of everything there was making me hungry so I ordered the burnt pork belly tips. They were so good that it was hard for me to stop eating them so I could leave half for him to try. Fortunately he came fast after I finished half, cause I text him with a picture and said if he didn’t come soon, I couldn’t promise I’d leave any of the appetizer for him .

Having enjoyed that so much I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. And while it was really good, it couldn’t compare with the appetizer I had, however my friend also gave me one of his baby back ribs because his plate was huge and he wouldn’t be able to finish it alone and that was almost as good as the appetizer. I say almost, because that appetizer was amazing

The water and diet soda I ordered came in large jugs and they also refilled the sugar right away. Our service was fast and fun to chat with.

I also ordered the banana pudding before my stomach could tell my brain it was full. While also very good, I expected a little more it out that

But the food was so good, I would definitely go back. I would say right away, if my stomach wasn’t hurting from overdoing it earlier.

Okay, so I’ve been to this place a few times but never wrote the review for this place. I’m a big bbq fan and my taste buds are highly sensitive. I sat in the bar area since I was by myself and ordered a watermelon margarita which was quite tasty with an actual piece of watermelon. The bartender was working this area by herself but she was really fast and nice with the service. In then ordered a side of bbq beans and potato salad along with some bbq chicken nachos. Everything was good, I wish it would have been more meat on the nachos but they tasted good in all. The potato salad needed some salt though. In all, it was an experience that you should see for yourself.

We went here for the first time for the Thanksgiving dinner after looking at their ad on their website. It looked pretty good. Once we got there and ordered, the food came out within 10 minutes and the food was barely warm and the turkey was very dry. They put all the food on one aluminum tray. It tasted and looked like prison food. It was not worth $38…not to mention $13 for watermelon ice tea. I doubt we will ever go back to this place. This place is a disgrace to the community.
