Absolutely incredible. You MUST do the 2 for $179 special. We’ve been here 4x and 3x did that special… and the times we did the special were better than the time we didn’t. You get 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a side and a dessert. The spinach and artichoke dip is an item that will seriously ruin spinach and artichoke dip for you anywhere else, because it’s not this one!! I’ve never had a SAD like this. + the naan bread is so incredibly unique and somehow fried to perfection, but still so soft at the same time. Crunchy & soft. I don’t know how they do it. Curried duck dish was a little too spicy, and the duck was a little under cooked. Aside from that dish, all of our experiences here have been incredible and we totally recommend this place!

Place is really nice ,customer service is great, food is great. We didn’t get a table because it was a Saturday evening. I do suggest getting a reservation but that doesn’t mean you can’t get just as a good experience at the bar. Food was phenomenal I wish we took a picture before we ate it. Drinks were good and my fiance loved the drip drink.

This is not a place you would expect to find in Brownwood, but there it is. We found this by accident one evening while visiting the town and I will now make a special trip to Brownwood just to eat here from now on.
The food, service, and atmosphere are the best. The owner was in and constantly circulating among the diner’s tables being friendly. Everything was incredible, even the plain mashed potatoes were the best I ever tasted. Have a hankering for a hard to find liquor? They probably have it somewhere in the 20 foot tall bar shelves. There is food there in the $20 range and it is just as good as their $100+ steaks.
The entrance is a little tucked away in an old bank building so just keep looking for it. You won’t be sorry.

My husband Mark and I have been to L&M’s roughly 10 times since moving to the area in July of 23. This is a fine dining experience. The food is exceptional. The service is exceptional. The drinks are exceptional. The owner of L&M and his staff put their entities hearts into this place. Don’t let the food prices scare you. I promise they are worth more than you will pay!
This is by far my favorite restaurant in the world. The food and service are top-notch. Expect to pay a hefty bill but it is absolutely worth every single penny!!

From the moment we entered, Connor took great care of us. He was an enthusiastic young man with plenty of knowledge. He always checked on us and made sure we had water and always asked if we needed anything. Our waitress was Kristina and she was PHENOMENAL! From her recommendations to everything she talked me into ordering, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She definitely knows her stuff, and she was very kind and extremely talkative. She’s one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had hands down. Definitely recommend this place. I had the Wagyu Ribeye served medium rare, a few drinks off the menu (I remember the Grandma’s Apple Pie and the Gold Rush), the Coconut Shrimp, and the Banana Pudding. 100% coming back here. It was all around such an amazing experience.

Houston meets Brownwood with this beautifully thought out restaurant. I know I was in the right place when the owners’ family members greeted me through the door and accommodated me although I did not have a reservation. The steak mac was perfection–created by one owner. The drinks were crafted by a knowledgeable bartender and the chocolate cheesecake was to die for–made by the mother in law! A true family affair, from their table to yours. This place is a must visit when you are in or near Brownwood, TX.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. The sweet tea could use a bit more sugar, but I was pleasantly surprised with the wide array of foods they offer. I would of loved some bread served at sit down to munch on whilst waiting for the main portions. I got the Korean Fried Chicken which was quite spicy, I would of liked it to be labeled as spicy but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The waiter was very kind and the atmosphere was great.
