Thus is quite a place. Sandwiches are really different. Craft Sandwiches is the perfect name. They are very creative and delicious at the same time. We were just passing through on vacation. Hopefully we can visit again. Thanks

Great place for a sandwich, especially if you want to expand your palate and try “something different.”

Delicious Italian style deli sandos. It was busy today during prime sandwiching hours, but worth the wait. Next time, I’ll skip the $5.75 bag of chips, but there will certainly be a “next time” in the near future.

Excellent sandwich place and much needed locally! The mortadella was off the hook good! Sliced perfect and loaded with goodness. The focaccia was the perfect touch! I’ll definitely be back!! So happy they opened!!

I had an odd and bad experience here. I’ll start off by saying my sandwich was good the one time I was here before and they have some cool sandwich options. Today my wife, toddler, and I came here on a whim and figured we could just stop and order in person. We got there and were greeted with a rude toned “It’s a 25 minute wait minimum.” sounding like we were an inconvenience. We said ok, that’s fine we could wait so we chose our drinks and chips. After that we weren’t acknowledged at all. I get that they were really busy, but if they were that busy and couldn’t take a minute to take our order, they should have closed in person orders instead of wasting our time. After waiting 10 minutes without being acknowledged we left.

There is no sandwich on earth that is worth a 40 minute wait. While the sandwiches are very well made, and Lucia’s quality is desperately appreciated in Martinez, customer experience is also important. If you have absolutely nowhere to be and don’t mind the wait then I recommend giving them a try, but if you are out running errands prepare to wait in sandwich purgatory.

Not exaggerating, best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The Veggie Deluxe is a dream, like, every ingredient is the best version of itself. This is a sandwich destination.

After just two sandwiches I’m convinced this is one of the best sandwich spots in the Bay Area.

Absolutely worth every penny – one sandwich either lasts through the afternoon for one, or you can split with a friend and nobody goes away hungry. I was astonished how large the sandwiches are the first time I ordered here, and have gotten the same quality multiple times, now. I also like that my son can come in with me via his wheelchair – use any of the soft ramps to the half level. Friendly staff, quick service – AAAA++++!

We literally drove half an hour for these sandwiches. Unique and fresh ingredients, amazing customer service, and artsy shop. We will be coming back for sure. The turkey on focaccia bread is *chefs kiss*
