Came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. The eggplant appetizer (~$16) and pasta (~$25) were tasty, but the portions were on the smaller side. It’s a BYOB restaurant, so please take advantage of it!

Amazing customer service, such a pleasure to work with planning and on site! Hosted a 40th birthday, it was wonderful having the whole room to ourselves. They set it up so nice for us (picture has my added decor also), were allowed to bring a cake and the byob was the icing!

Walked in hoping the previous stellar reviews were accurate—and we were not disappointed. We ordered soups and sandwiches for lunch. The soups were flavorful and delicious, and the sandwiches were very good as well. I didn’t expect to find such a yummy latte, which was a pleasant surprise. The family-like atmosphere perfectly complemented the hearty meal.

First of all I need to start by apologizing for the not great pictures haha , second , this place is awesome, I love the vibe of the place even though I picked up from there I been there several times. The food is fantastic, both the subs (8/10) especially the chicken parm and the soup(9/10), also I had a Tiramisu 8.5/10 is AMAZING , and I also had the eclair which was quite alright 6.5/10

Met a friend for appetizers and wine, then decided to bring my lady on a dinner date. We were so happy that we returned the following day to try something else. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was charming and the service was excellent. BYOB makes it an affordable option. I want to return to try everything Lucia’s has to offer including the sandwiches on the front deli side of the business. The owners are down to earth beautiful people.

If you’ve never been to Lucia’s, I suggest you drop what you’re doing and run. I swear by that place!! I’ve been dining at Lucia’s all my childhood and I seem to never get tired of anything from that restaurant. Sandwich’s you must try : Grilled chicken sandwich, Sams sandwich on the focaccia bread, Lucia’s favorite & The Ribeye sandwich! Hospitality at Lucia’s is also great! Feels like home.
I stopped by today 3/3 Friday around noon, I placed my order to go for all the sandwiches above (4) paid and notified them I’d be back. I took around 20-30mins to return and realized my order was not ready. In the matter of 15mins the restaurant was so full!! Like I said I’ve been dining at Lucia’s for ages and I couldn’t feel more satisfaction at just viewing how outrageously busy they were. Such a proud moment. I love small businesses but Lucia’s will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope this restaurant continues to grow, best wishes.

Vibe, service is great, byob is great but food is kinda mid. Was looking for italian place that serves risotto and honestly it was quite difficult to find a spot in Chicago that serves one.
It requires a long time to cook and constant care, so I understand, but the taste wasn’t quite there. Calamari was also a bit underwhelming.
I find fascinating at the price of calamari these days, any restaurant you go, this appetizer is well over $15. Its crazy. And nothing special with marinana sauce.
Not to mention parking around this neighborhood is very tough. But i give 3 star for being one of fee spots that does byob.

Awesome little spot! Restaurant in rear with an Italian deli up front.
Tried the Italian sub and the Sam’s turkey sandwich on focaccia. The Italian is pretty basic but scratches the itch for sure. The Sam’s was really unique—the hot pepper cheese really makes it special and it’s just a delicious sandwich overall.
Great place to have in the area, we will be back! Nice staff too and deli is open into the evening, which is nice.
