Sometimes restaurants have high ratings and they’re obviously fake once you make the choice to dine there. That’s not the case with Luciano’s. It is definitely worthy of their high rating.
Food: many options, accommodating, and it’s served hot!!! I absolutely love love love when my food is hot in temperature.

Service: Eli was fantastic. He explained everything. Identified pictures for me on my phone when I asked about dishes. He was patient and checked on us. The best part we his service was like he really cared, and I loved that.

Ambience: beautiful inside. Roses on the table, a candle, and GREAT bathrooms with mouth fresher, tissues, and stalls that defy the gaping wide open sides on the doors.

Would I go back: definitely
Parking: plenty

Very disappointing!
We went for dinner the Friday evening before Valentine’s Day. They were very busy and it appeared that our table had been added to accommodate the crowd. It felt like we were seated in an area typically used as a pathway. Our table was bumped several times during the meal by people walking past. In addition, we were no more than 10 steps from the door. Every time someone opened the door we got a gust of cold air. My feet were freezing the entire meal.

The Veal Meatballs Al Forno and Goat Cheese Pomodoro were good. The Papperdelle Ragu was not great. It was heavy on the sauce and most of the pork was too fatty to eat. The cheesecake and coffee for dessert were both very average.
I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant but the entire experience was a disappointment. I don’t think I would ever eat here again.

Came to Luciano’s to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was great, and the service from our server Milena was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and very polite. After dinner we were prepared to leave but Milena surprised my daughter with a free dessert large enough to feed the three of us. Highly recommend Luciano’s for any event you want to celebrate.

We came here for our anniversary dinner, and while the initial check-in with the host was a little rocky, everything after being seated was fantastic. Our server, Lucy, was absolutely excellent—warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience feel special.

We ordered the Caesar salad, squid ink pasta, and a pizza. The pizza was decent, but the pasta is where this place really shines—the squid ink pasta was absolutely phenomenal and a must-try. For dessert, we had the layered cake and tiramisu, and the tiramisu was truly to die for.

Prices were very fair for the quality, and the overall environment and customer service were top notch. Despite a slightly bumpy start, this turned into a wonderful anniversary meal. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this place after seeing the 4.8-star rating, and the atmosphere definitely lives up to the hype. When we walked in, the staff was friendly, polite, and the vibe was beautiful—upscale, stylish, and perfect for a night out or drinks. In terms of ambiance, service, and overall environment, it’s easily ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Where things felt a little off was the food, especially for the price point.

I ordered the salmon Alfredo with a side of shrimp. The shrimp came out noticeably overcooked/burnt (you can see in the photo), which surprised me because everything else about the restaurant felt so high-end. I also found a small hair on the plate, although I want to be fair—hair can come from anywhere and I didn’t hold that against them. The portion size of the salmon was very small for the price, and overall the seasoning and presentation didn’t quite match the premium atmosphere.

My girl ordered the chicken parm, which was decent but not amazing, and my kid’s pizza was okay. The bread with the roasted red pepper jam was very good, though I was surprised they didn’t offer garlic knots at an Italian restaurant—small detail, but still noticeable.

The biggest thing for me was that, while the drinks and atmosphere were top-notch, the food quality and portion sizes didn’t feel aligned with the higher-end pricing. A glass of wine being close to half the price of a full retail bottle felt a bit steep.

Overall:
Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Drinks: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food: ⭐⭐⭐
Value for price: ⭐⭐.5

It’s a great spot for drinks and a night-out vibe, but the food could use more attention to match the level of everything else.

Luciano’s was an excellent choice in every way. Great dining room atmosphere, each course was delicious: the fresh bread with garlic tomato oil, the creamy Caesar salad dressing, both pastas were 10/10 (lasagna and chicken fra diavolo), the triple layer chocolate cake as well as the cannolis were wonderful. The experience was topped off by the wonderful service provided by our server Eli. He was thorough and provided great dining recommendations, checked in on us frequently, and was just overall extremely nice. Thank you Eli for making our time at Luciano’s great! Would definitely come back if I’m in the area

I went here for dinner with my husband for my birthday. I was optimistic because of all the positive reviews, but we had a poor experience. We had to wait a long time for our entrees, to the point that our server had the manager come out to talk to us (however, he just dropped off the remaining dish and left).

When we received our entrees, we were disappointed with the quality. I ordered the tortelloni and it was absolutely SWIMMING in oil. I don’t know what kind of oil it was because it didn’t taste like olive oil to me, but it was nearly inedible and I was scraping the pasta on the side of the bowl to try to get some of the oil off.

My husband ordered the chicken fra diavolo and received very spicy spaghetti. I’m not sure where the spice came from because based on the ingredients, there was no reason for it to be spicy. He could barely eat it because it was so spicy.

We were offered a free dessert since it was my birthday, which I accepted. Our waitress stated that someone would be out with the tiramisu in a moment, but 15 minutes later she came out and saw that we still hadn’t received anything. She apologized profusely and eventually brought it out to us ourselves, but we chose to take it to-go because we had already waited so long.

The price for the quality was outrageous. We paid $12 for a bottle of San Pellegrino that we shared between the two of us. I ordered a shot of espresso and it cost $4. I expected to pay $60-70 and ended up paying $100 without tip.

Our waitress Aubrey was very sweet, attentive, professional, and obviously very disheartened by our experience. She bears no fault for our experience. I pray that our bad experience was just a fluke, but unfortunately we will not be coming back.

This restaurant NEVER disappoints. The food and drinks are sooo good. The service is always impeccable. Lynn served my daughter and I for Valentine’s Day, and she was exceptional! Very attentive and came to check on us all throughout our dinner. The manager also was walking around and checked on us, which says a lot. Will always recommend and will be back soon

Would 100% come back here. Needs reservations. Would ask to not be seated by their water cart as that took away from the experience! Gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce was very pungent. Gnocchi was pillowy, but between very strong flavors with the sauce and prosciutto (which was excellent quality). SO’s basil tomato fettuccini claimed to have blackened chicken? Calamari was fresh. Bread and sun-dried tomato sauce was yummy. Definitely know how to order next time and where to sit.

One of the best restaurants in Gwinnett! Michael was an absolutely phenomenal server. Attentive, authentic, loved his recommendations and service. I loved my homemade tiramisu birthday treat! But the star of the show was the bread and sun dried tomato dipping sauce. Even the salad was great, fresh and delicious. Definitely going back. Vibe was family friendly yet elegant. Reminded me of my childhood.
