We’re Lucia Rose, and we’ve been an Italian restaurant here in Addison, IL, since 2021. We offer pizza, pasta, baked clams, beer, wine, gelato, and much more. We’re looking forward to partnering with Chicago, Bensenville, Itasca, and the surrounding areas to continue to offer a premier Italian restaurant experience. Lucia Rose is a true gem. As soon as you step in you are charmed by the gorgeous modern decor. They have a large bar that’s really nicely done and looks upscale.
The Food….oh food is absolutely spectacular. Every single dish we tried was cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
Grilled calamari: you can really taste the char, divine. Fried calamari: perfectly crisp and not soggy. Diavola and Locale pizzas had the perfect crust, and wood burning oven taste. Whitefish I’ve asked to be broiled instead of Parmesan encrusted and it was delicious.
Definitely going back!

Met friends here for a birthday dinner. I don’t usually go to Italian restaurants since I’m not big on pizza or pasta, but everything we tried here was delicious. We shared the Arugula & Pistachio Pesto—it was very moist, full of flavor and a hit at the table (it was shared as an appetizer).
I ordered one of the pricier dishes, the Grigliata di Pesce (octopus, shrimp, calamari with lemon vinaigrette), and it was fantastic—cooked perfectly. Most of us had drinks and they were very well made.
Service was very patient, especially since we took a WHILE to order. The place is beautifully decorated with plenty of free parking. I’d definitely come back.

This might be my new favorite Italian dinner spot. I came for my first time yesterday for a large birthday dinner. Once you walk in, you will see it is very clean and the staff is attentive, we were seated right away and the table was ready for us. The atmosphere matches the energy for a Saturday night, not too bright but perfect. Even with a party with over 17 people, our server managed to get all the appetizers out at the same time. The owner was always checking on us and making sure he could help if needed. The meatballs were delicious, seafood (grilled) was fresh and seasoned well, and the fried food was cooked to perfection. As for my recommendation, if you like spice and vodka sauce, get it on the chicken parmesan. The portion size alone will be enough for 2 days, 3 cutlets with a huge portion of spaghetti. The steak and veal were amazing as well as we all shared our food. You can’t go wrong getting anything for dinner here.

I had an incredible dining experience at Lucia Rose! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and truly welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. As for the food, every dish was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put great care into their menu. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or just an amazing meal, Lucia Rose is a must-visit. This Italian restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm welcome from the hostess sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The service is consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. You can truly feel that they care about making every visit special.

The food here was great! I highly recommend making reservations. I will say that I was not happy with the service. I made the reservation and had dinner with my friend from out of town. They made us leave our table because they were behind on reservations. There were empty tables next to us. We would have ordered more drinks etc if they did not make us leave. I know some establishments have time limits, but as I mentioned there were empty tables. It was not worth the money for the level of service we received.

My husband and I, after reading a few mixed reviews, decided to give this establishment a try, and we are so glad we did! I ordered the Lucia Margarita, and my husband chose the Mulo Di Bosco, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks. While they didn’t have Tajin for my Margarita, it was still absolutely delicious!
We also had the most delightful Margherita Pizza we have ever tasted! It was truly delicious, and the Caprese salad was exceptionally fresh.
The service provided by Diana was truly amazing! She was very insightful in offering her recommendations. When she was occupied, Fabian and Tye kindly attended to our table to ensure everything was satisfactory and if we required anything. The service was exceptionally professional!
The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a cozy Italian establishment. We enjoyed the Chicken Parmigiana and Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, both of which were perfectly flavored. It is evident that they prepare their pasta from scratch.
My only concern was the imposition of a “hospitality” fee, regardless of the payment method used. If a restaurant wishes to increase charges, it might be preferable to adjust the food prices, as a “hospitality” fee can seem somewhat inelegant.
Nonetheless, I would still recommend this Italian restaurant.

Good food, quality hospitality. Some of the pastas should have really had a protein. My cacio e pepe would have been 5 stars with chicken. The quality of service was high, but our server had too many tables. Took her a while to make her rounds (not her fault). Wine selection was small but quality. Last, the ice cream for the affogato was pretty low quality for a shot of espresso with ice cream at $10, it should have been gelato or at least decent ice cream. It was bland and had ice crystals. Overall good meal with good friends, but a touch away from a great meal.
