This was my first visit here. It is a quaint diner and comfortable. I had breakfast here. The corn beef hash is handmade in the restaurant and was excellent. Many of the dishes and desserts are handmade in the restaurant. The owner and server were both very friendly. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the prices are average and equivalent to what you would pay at any other diner. They have limited hours and are open from 7AM to 3PM. The menu offers many of the standard dishes found in diners. They accept most major debit and credit cards. Will definitely revisit for a lunch meal.

No frills spot with a friendly staff and a good menu. Was there on a Saturday afternoon with my nephew. He ordered the French toast and said it might be the best he’s ever had. I ordered the meat loaf sandwich and it was certainly tasty. I believe they use thier own baked bread. Lots of great sounding options on the menu so I’m looking forward to going there again to try more things. Their baked desserts looked delicious, but my guess is that it’s hard to compete with the ice cream shop next door. Will try and leave room to try some next time.

I’ve been comming here on Sunday’s for breakfast consistently since September and haven’t had a bad meal yet. The service is always exceptional and the staff is very friendly. You feel welcome the moment you walk in. One of the stand out food items is the sausage. It’s not your typical breakfast sausage.

Just so happened to pass by on my way to another brunch spot, when I seen this new brunch place in Englishtown, the place looked very inviting so we decided to stop and try it out. I must say no regrets and now my family and I found our new breakfast place. Everything we ordered was excellent , breakfast , steak, grits, pancakes, waffles, soups….soooo good !!!!! Great good and great service!!!!

Looking for a place for lunch and we came across this little eatery. The place is nice with 2 rooms to eat. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was ok, nothing extraordinary. The prices were unexpectedly high which knocked my rating down a bit.

This place is sooooo good!!!! Breakfast or lunch, I have been impressed. So nice and friendly too!!! This should be on everyone’s list. The food is really tasty with quality ingredients. Homemade soups are great. This is a favorite on our list. Kids menu rocks!! Reasonably priced as well!!

Gave the country kitchen a try this morning and unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I was charged 11$ for porkroll egg and cheese on a roll because I asked for home fries on it. Meanwhile they have a belly buster with porkroll, bacon, sausage, egg and hash brown for $7.50 I was told it was because I ordered “a la carte” really? There was definitely not a whole order of home fries on that sandwich which had a pretty stale role by the way. How stale you ask? THERE WAS MOLD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE ROLL!!! Won’t be coming back!
