Either we picked the wrong fusion spot or the dishes just weren’t made well. The salad was drowning in dressing, and my pad Thai… I honestly have no idea what it was supposed to be. It was advertised as a Tex-Mex and Asian fusion, but it tasted more like a tomato-based carne asada mixed with Italian flavors, and then they tossed in pineapple on top of it all. The whole thing was such a strange combo. I could barely eat it, but I was starving. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. But the ambience and service was spot on

Absolutely delicious food. Well presented and served quickly. We had a group and they stayed on top of everything we needed. Personally, I recommend the salmon Poké bowl and the green bean appetizer. I have no idea how you’re supposed to eat that thing, but I would eat those green beans with my fingers if necessary.

Good dining ambience as it was not too crowded. There’s a bar section which is separate from the dining area. The kimchi &pork belly fried rice was delicious. The Pho Tai soup noodles was hot and savory. The Lemongrass chicken would be better if it had more lemongrass in it. The crispy Vietnamese spring rolls and Heat seeker shrimps were good too. Service was fast and friendly.

The food is good when it’s done right, but we’ve learned from experience, we just can’t trust them on allergens. They’ve served us peanut-containing food they swore didn’t have peanuts in it (I asked the server three times, so much so that I apologized after the third time and explained that we may seem paranoid but it comes from experience eating in other establishments). They’ve served us “tofu” summer rolls that were actually shrimp. They apologize each time, then they do it again. If you’re not allergic to anything they cook with, go for it, it’s a good place. If you’re unlucky enough to be allergic to peanut, sesame, shrimp, or anything else they have on the menu – just stay away. It’s not worth the risk.

Cute spot for a descent pho, chips and guacamole were a solid starter and the soup was solid. Service was attentive but nothing exceptional. the vibe was more of a bar type than restaurant but fun if you’re coming in for drinks. All and all a solid spot for relaxed food and drinks.

This has been my favorite restaurant for almost ten years. If I even travel within an hour of Lucha Tigre I make a point to go! I do miss the steak Chimichurri with Brussels!! LUCHA FOR LIFE!!
