I just moved to the area and was recommended Lucero’s from several friends as the best pizza. It did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious, I got the chicken pesto. The owner is so charismatic and sweet, I will definitely become a frequent customer here.

Had the most delicious pizza there today. Myself and my two friends ate a large BBQ pizza from Lucero’s and it was UNBELIEVABLE. We ate every last bit of it! This restaurant is an hour from my house, and I will absolutely be back. Was worth the drive! Thank you Luceros!!!!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Maryland. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who has taken pride in his work over the last 25+ years. It’s evident in the quality of pizza. Good flavor, perfect cheese to sauce to crust ratio, not greasy, just… PERFECT! A lovely place, and you know it’s good when they don’t have an online ordering option. Sure, maybe a little inconvenient in today’s age, but it pays off in quality. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I just happened to wander here today after a doctor’s appointment and I could not have been happier with my experience. The staff were very kind and helpful and easy to strike a conversation with, the restaurant was clean and organized. There were no other patrons there but also it was Tuesday afternoon on a rainy day. Now, the pizza was great! I ordered the supreme and it was everything I wanted in that moment. The toppings were all very well balanced in flavor, no one topping was overwhelming the others. The cheese blend was a great consistency, not too stringy which to me is a plus. The sauce was well balanced, sweet enough and with the right amount of acidity. And the crust! it was flaky on the outside and airy on the inside and very tasty! While I was there I joked with the young man that rang me up that I would be in trouble if I could eat a whole large pizza on my own, but honestly, the pizza was so good and so well balanced that I had to stop myself from devouring it in one sitting! I am going to be returning here for sure and I will bring friends and tell them about this wonderful little establishment!

Wife and I ordered two pizzas to go. These were quite possibly the worst take out pizzas we have ever eaten. They were undercooked and reminded me of the pizzas served in high school cafeterias. I don’t usually write reviews on Google but this food was so terrible I felt the need to come here and warn folks that if you’re considering Lucero’s, don’t do it. The service was fine and the staff seem like nice folks, but charging $20 each for pizzas that make Dominos seem like fine dining is something the public needs to be aware of.

We ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms and 10 wings. We were told 40-45 min but it took about 75-80 min. The pizza crust was visibly missing from 3 slices, with holes where the pizza was just cheese and toppings. The order was $50 including tip, which seems like a lot for pizza with holes and 10 wings. I agree with other comments that the crust did not seem to be made from scratch.

Delicious little old skool pizza and sub shop. I love it! Great subs, great portions, super friendly service…what more can you ask for? The pizzas are good as well. Old skool NY style pizza with just the rigjt amoumt of love. I love their fries too, served with a little spice.

My 2nd visit, Ordered a 12″ sub , steak & cheese with a small fries no extras no drinks the food didn’t taste fresh at all especially not the veggies. The fries was ok , the ketchup bags very old couldn’t find a day on them.
Paid $21 feels kinda expensive compared to other local places in the neighborhood.

Perfect thin crust. I loved the home made taste of the sauce and fresh toppings. Very friendly service.

We ordered a white pizza. The price was on the higher side. The pizza itself was kinda weird, the cheese was very greasy and the dough was flaky when biting into it. It tasted premade and not like the usual dough you’d expect from a pizza place. The service was pretty nice. We asked for a cup of red sauce which they gave us since the whole pizza was lacking flavor, that made it a bit better.

I don’t really understand how some reviews say this could be the best pizza around. I guess everyone’s taste is different.

For the price and taste we would not return.
