I’ve been coming here for the stuffed churros for the last 10 years! Those are SO bomb. This last time, we came in to buy a slice of each tres leches cake to try and see which one would be our favorite. My family and I are suckers for a good tres leches cake. We got a slice of each of the following tres leches cakes: original, cajeta, coffee, chocolate and nuez. We also got carrot cake, choco flan, regular flan and a gelatina de nuez. Out of everything we bought, the carrot cake was our favorite. The tres leches cakes weren’t the best-not as flavorful or moist at the tres leches cakes we have tried before. Overall we will continue coming for the churros but we are not big fans of the tres leches cakes.

I have been in this bakery two times to purchase good churros. There isn’t nothing special about these churros. However, They fill them with different cream flavors (i guess this is why people go there and geet them). The first time I purchased the filled churros, they were filled all the way through . The second time they were only filled on the top and the rest of the churro was empty. I will never buy filled churros in this place again. Make sure to mention the bakers to ensure the churros you pay for are filled up properly.

For our wedding, we wanted churros and Mexican hot chocolate for dessert. Was recommended to try Lucero’s churros and was impressed with their flavor, consistency and freshness. Was the most similar to Disneyland churros and we tried a few beforehand. Also the hot chocolate was very good. Our guests loved it. Was delivered fresh!

I pretty much come here for the filled churros which are always on point, best around so far.
I’ll also get slices of cakes (tres leches/cajeta) and gelatina (de nuez) they’re pretty good but churros take the W for me.
Service I would say not too friendly most of the time, but again I go for the food not to make friends so ehh…
The place for cleanliness inside is pretty clean, they have a patio area outside in the front where you can enjoy your churros, I would say a little dirty at times.
Other than that overall their stuff is pretty fresh and flavorful. I usually do take out but that’s just me.

Long wait times for a few churros. Lady at register wasn’t passing orders to the guy making the churros and people were mad because they had to wait. Register lady kept repeating ‘I don’t know’ as if she didn’t care about the orders she had just taken. Definitely won’t be back.

Haven’t been to this location since their remodeling. I love their churros! Drove all the way from West LA to get them. They’re the best! Love the variety of pastries they offer and their pan dulce. They have an area to sit inside and outside. They also have a variety of mexican chips and drinks.

This place is the place to buy freshly made-to-order churros. They do sell cakes and baked goods too. Haven’t tried it yet but will next time. This place can get a bit busy at times so you may have to wait for a while, but the wait is way worth it. Trust me. Highly recommend this place.

Need a cake last minute. Lucero’s bakery has it. Churros, bread, chocolate covered strawberries. Great place to grab dessert.

So much more than we thought from the outside. The staff helped us quickly while calling us amigos and I guess we made a good impression because they gave us an extra guava churro relleno. We bought cake, a donut sandwich, a chocolate cookie, and churro relleno. All of which was just $13 and super delicious.

Best churros ever. Bought 20 regular and 8 filled for $28 (plus a delicious concha). It’s a small place ad can get crowded quickly. But they’re very fast with filling orders. Customer service was quick and friendly
