Stopped tonight 3-3-26 with my daughter and grandsons. I absolutely loved the look and the atmosphere. My daughter asked for a high chair, we waited 15+ minutes for one and then had to ask the waitress that came to take our order.. finally got it after our appetizers were brought out. And we did not see her again until after our pizzas which took over a hour was served. And they were NOT busy, there was probably 2 other people came in AFTER we placed our order.
We ordered the fried green beans, fried pickles, the Bronx pizza, a pizza that was 1/2 “Staten Island” and 1/2 “ the hot honey” and a to go Philly cheesesteak for work tomorrow. The fried green beans and pickles were good, The Staten Island pizza (MY pizza) came out with burnt breaded chicken( or actually the pieces of the breading .. there was maybe 3 actual pieces of chicken meat)on it.. the sauce which is “ a mixture of ranch and marinara” was Gosh AWFUL…I tried a piece of the chicken, and it tasted like a burned, cheap chicken strip. I pinched a little bit of cheese with some sauce on it and I almost threw up.. seriously. The ranch they make isn’t made to be heated.. makes it change flavor. The other pizzas my daughter and the boys wanted were not bad, they enjoyed it. The Philly cheesesteak.. which is what I am having tonight is really good.
I didn’t take pictures, nor did I complain. My daughter boxed their leftovers and when I was asked if I needed a box, I politely said NO. Our waitress did not ask why or if something was wrong… just ignored the fact that an entire 1/2 of a pizza was untouched and was being left. I shouldn’t have paid for that part of my order.. which was a few cents shy of being $100 plus the tip my daughter left.
Would I go back? Im not sure, but IF I do, I’ll just would stick to a Philly.

Top tier pizza. In my top 3 for best pizza I’ve ever had. We stopped here on our way to gulf shores and only chose it since they had a patio and were dog friendly. Wish this place was closer to home because I would be a regular. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean inside and out with a great atmosphere. If we are ever back in the area, this will be our stop.

My mom and I split the small Greek salad and the chicken Parmesan and we still did not finish all of our food. The salad was very fresh and the chicken was perfectly fried. We loved the marinara sauce on the pasta as well. The chicken was all white meat and still juicy. Service was excellent as always. The inside of the restaurant looked very clean and updated. My only critique- the garlic bread was dense and bland.

By far one of the best pizza / Italian places I have ate at in years. Just sad it’s so far away from where I live. And the waitress was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be making another stop by here when in town again. Not all pizza, lots and lots to choose from. Make sure you come hungry because you more than likely will be taking home a box like I did

This was something of the best pizza I’ve had in a looooong time. The ingredients tasted fresh and crisp (when applicable). The crust was great! Crispy but not burnt or hard. A friend and I ordered the Buffalo Pizza and the Long Island Pizza. Both were so good! I didnt know if I’d like the buffalo pizza. I like buffalo wings, etc, but for all that to be crammed on top of a pizza? I thought it might be too much. IT MOST DEFINITELY WAS NOT TOO MUCH!!! It was pizza perfection! The Long Island was basically a Greek pizza with pepperoni. Also outstanding! I’ll be hitting this place every time I’m in the Lucedale area (at least until I get talked into another place; but it is going to take a lot to stop me!).

I’ve been frequently. This is first review. Across the board, I’ve had a good enough experience to return. I note some inconsistencies in staffing and kitchen bit not so much as to avoid it, yet. Reminds me a lot of the original pizza guy I knew as a kid. I feel nostalgic inside. We hosted a party last week, and it was a few kid kids, like 6 and 6 adults, and our waitress was great, Evie. Today’s visit the waitress seemed very distracted, she apologized over and over but almost like a habit and not empathetically… I’m not sure. Will go back and try again.

Waited over 35 minutes for a Pizza. Went to counter ask about it. Woman behind counter actually yelled at me “It takes 30 minutes for a pizza!” Well I have been there before and got my Pizza in less than 15 minutes. But for some reason that evening was much longer. Went back to booth after another approximate 10 minutes the Pizza came. Started eating and there was NO sauce on the pizza. Our waitress (who was very nice, by the way) ask how the Pizza was? Showed her there was no sauce on the Pizza. She offered an apology, but of course I don’t think it was her fault. She came back a little later and offered another apology and comped our entire meal. I have been there several times before and the staff was always very nice and the food was Good. However, on this visit it was totally different. Don’t know if the woman who yelled was having a bad day or what. Don’t know if there was a problem in the kitchen or what. I appreciate the meal was Comped. But would have felt better if the staff member who yelled would have offered an apology and explaination instead of yelling. Just explained there was a reason for the Pizza was running late instead of being so unprofessional!

I love the Lucedale House of Pizza. I am so glad they opened a second location here. We have tried the wings, spinach and stromboli calzones, chicken parm pasta, cheese ravioli, a large brooklyn pizza, garlic knots, the loaded fries, meatball subs, chicken Philly, and Philly cheesecake so far and have enjoyed every dish. Everything is so good! Service is friendly and quick. Music isn’t so loud you can’t have a conversation with someone. We are regular customers now lol.

I was a fan of Semmes, their service and food has gone down hill, not to mention the manager was so rude the last few times I’ve gone in there. I was hesitant to go to lucedale location. Boy was i surprised! The food was amazing, just the way I remember it to be! The service was fantastic! Familiar faces and people that remembered me from the Semmes location! My husband and I will drive to lucedale from now on, even tho we live about 7 minutes from the other location!!!
