Went here for Valentine’s day and had a wonderful time. Our server Gabby was incredible and we felt taken care of despite how busy the place was. food was great, star of the show was the green lentil hummus but everything was great. There is a fine dining charm while still being local.

We had my daughters bridal shower here over the weekend and it was perfect thanks to Kristen and her amazing team! From the beginning Kristen was amazing! I was planning this from out of state and she was always available for any questions. She understood my vision and helped me to achieve it. The food was absolutely delicious! It literally flowed onto the table and people raved. Then there was Gabby our sweet server who read the room perfectly and made sure we were all taken care of. I held my annual Ladies Night Out event for my portrait clients last September at Lucca. I’ve hosted at similar restaurants all over the south shore. Kristen and the staff were beyond accommodating and catered to my non traditional event requests. Everything from not the standard room set up, to offering complimentary beauty services, specifics with lighting and more. She and her staff were friendly, polite, professional and attentive.
My guests loved the food. Kristen was very helpful in helping me design my event ticking all the boxes from decor to budget!

Tall ceilings seem to make heat retention a problem. Restaurant was on the colder side. Restaurant itself is actually very large. Black tablecloths on each table. The restaurant is very large and was pretty busy on a Saturday night.

I don’t think this was necessarily our server’s fault. She appeared to be running around from table to table, but it seemed that the restaurant was understaffed. Our waters went unfilled at various points. There were significant delays between ordering and receiving food and drinks. In total, it took us 2 hours to receive 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. At the end, I would have gotten dessert, but we didn’t have enough time because dinner took too long.
Food: 3/5
A) Octopus appetizer (4/5). Nice dish, We liked that it wasn’t fried. The red sauce had a decent amount of heat and garlic without being overwhelming. The accompanying crostini was a nice touch.
B) Cod entrée (1/5). Cod was overcooked, bland, with a big slop of herbs on top. Accompanying vegetables were overcooked/charred and inedible.
C) Chicken Marsala Entrée (3/5). Chicken was well cooked. Linguini was overcooked and too soft. Marsala sauce and mushroom taste was decent, but there was swimming in cream which overpowered the dish.
D) Wine. I won’t rate the wine/mocktail since it’s not rocket science to pour a glass of wine. See service comments above.
E) Complimentary bread and spread. Fair at best. Not freshly made. Room temperature. Nothing special

I had my daughter’s Bridal Shower at Lucca today and it was absolutely perfect! Kristen helped me organize it, as I was trying to plan it while living out of state. Her replies were prompt and she was a pleasure to work with. The room held our party of 17 beautifully and they set it up with a perfect flow for cocktails, a sit down lunch with room to open up presents and have dessert. They helped me organize the flow of the event so it didn’t feel stagnant or rushed. And to top it all off our server, Gabby, read the room perfectly and was so kind.

We got the bread + hummus to start with the mussel appetizer, pork chop & chicken breast entrees, and shared a tasty blueberry cobbler style dessert topped with salted caramel ice cream and an amazing Angels Envy cocktail. Jon our server was exceptional. Very personable, knowledgeable and outstanding service beginning to end. ☺️

We went to Lucca last night (Saturday) and scored seats at the bar. The food was off the charts incredible— House-made pappardelle, butternut squash Alfredo, roasted red peppers, fried sage and Statler Chicken Breast! WOW! The bar tenders —Carley, Jean, and Jenny were so friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful, stylish…and yet a very cozy atmosphere! Huge kudos for hitting is out of the park…food, service, atmosphere! We will see you all soon! Thank you!

Went there for Dinner by myself. The waiter, though admittedly new, was very pleasant. A little soft-spoken, it was hard to hear him though. The dining room was so dark I absolutely could not read the menu, had to use the fake candle. But, the oysters were grade A and the Mignonette was one of the best I had. Had the homemade gnocchi with braised short rib, to die for, excellent. I received the wrong Entrée though, so I was disappointed. Ordered the Orecchiette with sausage and got the Cavatelli instead. The Cavatelli dish was too similar to my app, and though it was good, was not what I wanted.
Good wine list and decorated tastefully. I would recommend and visit again. Just turn up the light a little, please.

Hands down the best Italian I’ve had in years. Rigatoni bolognese was absolutely spot on with the pasta cooked exactly how I like it al dente. The service was great with great attention to details and the meal of finished off with a perfect piece of carrot cake expertly prepared by the on staff pastry chef. Can’t recommend this place more!
